Friendly with his usual 'let the legal system at out'.

At least you are consistent. Employers don't need to wait. The NFL has shown they never do.

I'm still curious who the kid was. If not his, legal system legit may prevent him from playing

I hope Roger only gives him 4 games just so we can finally get a better commish already then that new commish comes in and bans Sheldon for life on some Adam Silver ****.

@AlbertBreer: Sheldon Richardson after previous weed suspension: "This is something that can only be addressed by how I handle myself from this point on."

2 weeks after this statement he's going 140mph with a loaded gun in his car & smells of pot. get this idiot off my team
and yet people view Josh Gordon as an awful person. all Josh did was get high in his home.

Would be surprised if he's not suspended for the rest of the season.

Endangering a child, driving reckless and evading cops. Those are serious as hell.

nope

we got Leo Will tha Gawd to take his place

Is he fully healed from his shoulder surgery?
haven't heard anything about it so i'd say so

all the coaches are saying how great & how smart of a player he is, can't wait to see him on the field

Yeah but the NFL aint your typically workplace though

We like to pick and choose when the NFL is like a normal workplace

Nobody has a natural right to play in the NFL either. It's free to apply punishment as it sees fit. The NFLPA granted Goodell that power in the last CBA. They are responsible for how they are treated.

And these clowns are an embarrassment to the league. The legal system doesn't punish these guys properly due to their high profile and ability to hire ridiculous lawyers. The employer coming down on them is the only way they may wake up because our justice system certainly isn't doing the job. NFL has a major PR problem already, and these players acting like fools only makes it worse. Is there a major league with a worse rep when it comes to crime (regardless if true or not)?

the NFL has a brand to live up to, it doesn't hurt you hear about their players getting in trouble regularly

they have the right to drop whatever hammer they want on Sheldon

i hope Goodell drops all the hammers on Sheldon

maybe that'll teach him to stop being a dumb asterisk

It has the most players and highest profile...The overwhelming majority of NFL players are beyond model citizens

And that integrity of the shield is a bunch of baloney..nobody really gives a damn, as long as the games are entertaining...just have set guidelines for punishment and stick to them.

UFC has a terrible reputation. Real Sports went over it recently on HBO.
