Plenty of ignorance being spewed in here.

For this thread??!?
This morning is pretty damn tame... what or who are you referring to?
I think I missed something.

Would love for YOU to elaborate and 1.) Tell me why YPC is so asinine to give merit to 2.) Show me how many RB's in the HOF have a career YPC below the 4.0 YPC mark.

How many years was Jerome Bettis a top two or three RB in the league? That's big to me, when, you know, somebody is going to have their career basically cemented amongst the greats. So If you can show me, with numbers to back it up.

Calvin Johnson> Randy and TO

If you wanna play the if he had x around him then y game Megatron is the Goat

No wide receiver in NFL history has produced more with less around him

Dude played with Cris Carter for only 3 seasons though
laugh.gif
and. his two best seasons was when he played opposite great wide receivers and the other with a hof qb. loved randy moss but it is what it is. he isnt better then rice.

Who here even said that he's better than rice though??? This was a discussion about him vs T.O.

The offense was run through him for years, 13 seasons on the NFL, eight 1,000 seasons, durability, a super bowl title.

He's this generations Riggins, does he not deserve to be in also?

All I'm saying is, people calling Randy Moss the GOAT better be doing the same for LeBron. :nerd:

Being an athletic, unguardable freak makes you the GOAT apparently...

Didn't answer any of my questions

Since you brought up the Super Bowl title, not me, what's good with Willie Parker putting the rushing responsibilities on his back though? Again, you brought it up, so don't say, 'He retired a year later though!' Aight, well don't bring it up as a pseudo-response to what I asked

.@RapSheet reports he's heard the Pats plan to bring Flynn back once his hamstring is healed. They think he's a good fit.

Cris Carter was never the best, his YPC isn't great at all but he deserved it, right?

I did answer your questions, I'm on mobile otherwise I'd do the research you are commanding to prove Bettis was just a good back and not hall worthy.

Did you miss the whole debate? Go back and read instead of having the same peeps rehash the same stats

agreed. lots of dudes in the hof whose stats arent that great. its not all about stats for the nfl.

curtis martin was never the best rb in the L hes in the hof. i also hate the argument " he was never the best"

And going from a 3.9 YPC to 4.1 (where majority of hall RBs start) results in 70 yards per year (based off a high workload of 350 carries per year). That stat isn't what the argument should be IMO if you went against (and there is a decent argument against)
