How is DeSean Jackson not on this list?
To your point, IDK if it was in here but someone posted 40 times from the veteran combinePercy Harvin?
Tell me, Y'ALL -- even in the cases of Desean Jackson and Ted Ginn Jr. ....
... In 2015, you guys actually think any of those three would still be able replicate or finish near their 40-time highs from the past, like that 4.3 ****?
Hell, as a freshman at the U of Florida, the urban legend is Percy ran a 4.3 forty, but then he ran a 4.41 at the combine and everybody was disappointed. So at 18, there was a rumor he ran a 4.3, at 21-22 he clocked in at 4.41 at the combine but:
Percy Harvin at age 27, still in your guys' minds, is one of the fastest players in the NFL?
HELL NO. People don't realize, like, 'When is the last time any of these dudes ran a 40?' They live off of their, "he's one of the fastest players in the league" reputations that they were credited with around their combines/when they entered the league when they were 22 until the point of when their damn near 30. Like no, the dudes coming in right now at 22 are obviously going to be faster than them. If Percy lost .15 from 18 to 22 (and I doubt that the 4.3 is really true, but maybe), if he lost that from 18 to 22, what do you guys think he's lost from 22 to 27? I mean his effectiveness, feel for the game, familiarity with the system - ALL of that can go up and the combination and end result of all that coming together makes that person a better player on Sundays -- but he, Desean and Ginn all have been losing their peak-level speed incrementally since being in the league, like anybody else.
Again, these dudes haven't been clocked for a 40-yard dash in 6-7 years.
bring back the qb challenge
Bring back the skills competition to settle all of this
Darrell Green and Joey Galloway still burning pushing 40

#Texans satisfied with RB group as-is right now, O'Brien said.

Remember seeing Peter Warrick on the field at FSU....then that 40 time came outGame speed should be the judge not 40 yard dash times
I know 40 yard dash times are more quantifiable
It's gonna be the *** hat Patriots, isn't it?
Don't think we can afford him unless he's willing to accept a 1 year dealthat's what I am thinking, heard they were the darkhorse in it for himIt's gonna be the *** hat Patriots, isn't it?
Brian Finneran is gonna be in Madden
Don't think we can afford him unless he's willing to accept a 1 year deal . Also we just traded for a guard, not much need.

Dude was a beast with pads on though
Does a NFL Game Rewind subscription on NFL.com allow me to download a touchdown or what not in the video's original format, like 1080p? Those who have had it maybe know, but I imagine since it's the No Fun League they are so worried about people downloading full games that they lazily threw a blanket rule over the subscription where you can't download even like a 10-second highlight.
Ironically, after my post I decided to look up a highlight video and you were right because that was the first thing I noticed. He was just shifty as hell and they couldn't touch him. Could never get an angle on him, or get him head on.Pete Warrick never had long speed. He was more quick and superiorly agile. Look at his film or highlights, he never seperated from faster DBs but he beat you with agility and stamina. Played 100 miles per hour from 1st to 4th, plus overtime if necessary
BTW, I think DeSean Jackson could still run 4 35 EASILY. I also think Dominique Roders-Cromartie still has elite 4.3 speed. Deion Sanders was still insanely fast, even into his late 20s and 30s. The biggest speed dropoff I have ever seen was DeAngelo Hall. D-Hall went from like a 4.3 40, to a 4.7
DJax had the most catches of 40+ yards in the NFL last season, and that is with RG3/Cousins/McCoy routinely underthrowing himPete Warrick never had long speed. He was more quick and superiorly agile.
