it'll be interesting to see with them having a starting qb in there instead of the yearly backup. is tavon austin a bust or is it cause he had austin davis/shaun hill throwing to him? can greg robinson pan out? there's a lot of question marks but i like their pieces. donald might already be the best DT in the league.

Tavon is the biggest anomaly to me, I really don't know if he is a bust or just not used right

I lean towards not used right

I'd love to get him on the eagles

I mean I think it's laughable he still gettin looks to begin with.

He's in the way.
Not instigating anything but he's won more playoff games than your qb

I could see the Steelers winning another SB or missing the playoffs behind the Ravens and Bengals.  Very unpredictable with that defense and so many young players.  But the offense should be super-powered.

100% agree, impossible to predict confidently

Not instigating anything but he's won more playoff games than your qb:rofl:

:frown: :smh:

My emotions when I read that

Tebow comes with to much hooplah for an average at best kind of player, no one wants to deal with that.

I don't even think it's bad though because he is so likable

I will take Tebow as my 3rd string QB because if he is starting you know your team is screwed anyway

With him being out of the league last year alot of that has died down.. but those people don't realize how much of a disservice they were doing for him

I still believe Tebow is an asset. He's not a starting quarterback and some may think he's barely a backup -- or worse. I know everyone goes along with the fact that since he can't quarterback, he should be cut, but Tebow is the only guy I would make an exception for. He's the best kind of guy you can have in locker rooms and on the practice field and it's something that I believe would actually make a difference that won't be readily apparent by most or quantifiable. Only him though. I root for him.

That's fine that no one agrees and I don't expect them to. Just one of those things for me.

No fan in the history of football has took a stance on why someone deserves to be 3rd string QB

That's my beef.

That's my beef.

And I don't care.

I see value and that's all that matters for me to justify my own opinion, ya know? I get it sounds ridiculous, but like I said, Tebow is the only guy I'd say this about.

Tebow is the ultimate team player, he's not going to cause any locker room distractions and will be a good guy to mentor young players plus he works as hard as anyone

pretty much why I think Chip even signed him, I think he ultimately just wants to be in the NFL, like I said before if Barkley or Tebow is starting then you are picking top 10 anyway

Hold up, Tebow is the biggest distraction in the league.

Funny how the same people who said Michael Sam was too big a distraction to deserve a chance forget that

stop that non sense, Tebow wants to be in the NFL for the right reasons, this isn't 2012 anymore with the distractions

Michael Sam wants one thing, to use his homosexuality to make him a media darling and further his 15 minutes of fame hence why he already quit the CFL

Tebow wouldn't even play in the CFL when no NFL team would sign him, but I guess he's just in the league because he "loves hard work and football"

In all fairness though Tebow never sought to be in the spotlight, it kind of just happened. Michael Sam has been vying for that spotlight since forever.
Dude had anti-abortion commercials on air his first year in the league, talking about "not wanting to be in the spotlight"...  That's nonsense. What?

Yeah he didn't wanna play in the CFL so he didn't, better than signing just to get your name back in the spotlight than quitting

Michael Sam cares about keeping his name relevant and that's it

The last 12 months have been very difficult for me, to the point where I became concerned with my mental health.

If he loved the game and wanted to be a real QB he would have played in the CFL and showed he could lead a team rather than trying to fight for any scrap of the bigtime spotlight left to him, which is exactly what he's doing.  Couldn't get the NFL attention so he spent a year on ESPN until he could be back on sportscenter rather than actually playing the game.
