dmxfury dmxfury

that week 1 matchup looking rough...no brady, no leveon, no pouncey

Pouncey always seems to be hurt

I already said Pitt is toast week one, this doesn't change MY prediction or opinion :smh:

at this rate, please do not even dress Gronk until Sept 10. don't even let him on the sidelines, man

Rob Demovsky @RobDemovsky
McCarthy: Jordy is a key member of our team, but I'm not going to get into preliminary tests. Hoping for good news based on info I've gotten

"Hoping for good news based on info I've gotten"

Could initial diagnosis of it being a tear be wrong? The way he says that makes me wonder.

Also:

Tom Silverstein @TomSilverstein
McCarthy: Hubbard and Randall needed IVs on the sideline.

If the Maurkice Pouncey injury is at all serious and the surgery knocks him out for a while (I don't know how long the surgery will take to recover from since they're being vague about the specific details of the injury/severity) then that's a much bigger loss than Jordy Nelson.

Pouncey was an All-Pro center last year, the stabilizer of that offensive line. This will have a huge impact on their offense if he's sidelined for an extended period of time.

Ed Bouchette @EdBouchette now
Pouncey has broken bone

Gerry Dulac @gerrydulac 1m
Pouncey has broken ankle. Steelers still hoping he can return this season.

Bill Barnwell @billbarnwell 1m
Steelers and Packers were healthiest and third-healthiest offenses, respectively, in the league last year per @fboutsiders.

They've lost him for significant time on different occasions. It won't ruin the line, I feel like it almost happens every year honestly
