Don't know what happened but people went to games to enjoy football.  People painted their faces, dressed up to enjoy their team and to have fun.  Football was football.

These days, you have politically sensitive folks who don't handle themselves well.  You have crazy fights at the stadium, people trying to shame others and start things.  Everything is an over-reaction of something.
Lol...who man is this?

men have been fighting at stadiums over their teams for decades.

My father who is a deadskins fan used to travel to philly every year with my uncle who's an Eagles fan, to see their teams play at the old Veterans stadium. They told me fools used to fight like crazy at that stadium. Fights at football games are nothing new.

The Skins name won't change until MAJOR sponsors start putting the heat on Dan. Which hasn't happened. Look what happened in the aftermath of the Donald Sterling fallout. You had Kia and Virgin America threatening to pull sponsorship unless he was removed. That was instantaneous.

Bottom line, the talking-heads on both sides of the name change debate have been outted as frauds who are only interested in their own self-serving money grabbing agendas.

I'll support the ******** 100%, but if the name does change, I have no issue either.

Ain't no bottom line, you're just trying to spin.

Wrong is wrong, no one cares if there happen to be some frauds on the right side.

No one is buying you trying to create false equivalencies with Daniel Snyder.

The Blair Walsh miss is weird. They said he nailed the kick earlier with laces out. Then they said kickers have the hardest time with the laces facing the side. It can hook a kick. Now they're saying the holder had the ball tilted a little because it slipped and the ground was so cold. AP was supposed to run to the right and instead he cuts left trying to get the first. Walsh is much better from the right side. Either way, this is the most attention I've ever seen a kick get in a long time. Sad.

We had a ton of bad snaps during the game, including the blown punt that led to the first FG.  The Seahawks long-snapper said afterwards it's damn hard to snap a frozen football.  Whether it was the snapper/holder/kicker there on the last kick, have to believe the weather was a major factor.

Thank god next week is in Carolina and not Lambeau or some type of place.

Ok, bud. You're right.

Had a cell in the stadium

I feel like overall fan behavior has degenerated a bit but all in all football fans act pretty terrible and have for years and years. Some stadiums definitely worse than others. Many games not suitable for children

Vet stadium was a scary place, I used to get nervous going as an Eagles fan when I was a youngster

the Linc is toned down because it's priced out a lot of "those people"

Same dude who stopped posting in his team's thread because of a fake name change. LOL.

Classic.

JJ Watt has managed to skate through unscathed on here after quitting on his team. Not surprising.

Marshawn too depending on the full story of what really happen out there.

I think a lot of it has to do with the amount of time people have to tailgate before the gates to the stadium open. NFL sporting environment is like nothing else...maybe a notch below what goes on at European soccer games. :smh:

except he is having groin surgery tomorrow

Goddamn I feel sorry for Blair Walsh.
Sobbing in his locker and everything.

Sucks that he's getting almost all the blame and AP's fumble is basically an afterthought. It shouldn't have came down to him.

You know how many players have surgery when their season is over? That's nothing new. Jay Cutler tore his knee up and he got blasted even when it was announced he tore his knee.

Watt's been playing with that same groin pain for 3-4 weeks but when his team got down on Saturday, he gave in the "no mas" signal and shut it down. Had they won, no chance he has surgery tomorrow.

That game was over from the start

Shoes, can we get a special wild card in review thread? It had enough insanity to warrant some thoughts and a look back

He would have found a way to play and sustain the injury dramatically on the field, LeBron style.

Maybe even come back out in a wheelchair.

I don't think so. I think AP's fumble has gotten a lot of attention and AP even said it's a different game if he doesn't fumble.

I definitely feel bad for Walsh. This is the worst missed FG in the playoffs I've seen since the Giants and Bills SB.

Truth. Walsh took full responsibility too afterwards.

AP was benched for a bit after the fumble IIRC.

Eh the Gary Anderson one was far more egregious of a miss than Scott's. This was easier than both for sure but many things led up to it even happening. Laces out :smh:
