I don't see a problem at all with someone from Seattle rooting for OKC. If you're a lifetime Sonics fan why would you start being a fan of the Blazers (or whoever else)?
You'd be supporting the owner who moved (stole) the team and changed the name.

At some point Mike Tomlin needs to be held accountable for his own behavior and the behavior of his coaches, all said and done.  The fact that Porter was given the game ball after the game is a disgrace.  So is the fact that multiple coaches on his staff (HC included) have now been involved in on-field incidents—that's totally unprecedented.

Coaches should be held to a higher standard and both Munchak and Porter should be suspended, and Tomlin put on notice.  Marvin can't keep his players under control which sucks for him, but Tomlin has a pattern of actively encouraging this type of behavior which is definitely worse.
This whole pseudo standards for football coaches is nonsense. They aren't baseball managers, let the coaches coach.

Part of this is that Marvin is known to take risks on and have huge success with troubled players.  So if you do that at times bad things can happen.

Look how much Pacman and Burfict have meant to the team though.  They likely would have flamed out elsewhere.

Couldn't agree more about the media reaction but it is par for the course if you look at the Steelers' history.  They are media darlings and will remain so, because of their history of success and the Rooney's popularity with the big boys at the top.

Exactly. I don't mind if people are gonna be high and mighty about these kinda hits, but at least be consistent about it. I remember the year Merriweather caught a few fines for helmet to helmet hits with the Skins, Collinsworth did a Sunday night game where there was a hit that was a pretty good form tackle with his head up, but it looked like there was a bit of incidental helmet to helmet contact. Collinsworth of course launches into a tirade about his past etc. That very same year he did a steelers game where either Troy or somebody else straight up launched themselves and led with the crown of their helmet into the ball carrier, and Chris talked about how he loved seeing that good old fashioned hard-nosed Steelers defense.

Get all the way outta here with that double standard ********.

That's a god damn horrible argument. If you live in Seattle and still root for the thunder than you probably enjoy other dudes banging your wife

NT extremes.

NT Logic.

You don't have hometown pride you wouldn't understand

I have team pride.
You wouldn't understand.

If your wife chooses another dude do you still support her too?

Marvin would make a hell of a GM, but he's a moderately ok coach who loses control of his players in the playoffs.

I'd take him as GM of the Giants anyday...

Marvin took a risk on shoot the club up pac man jones who couldn't go a week without getting arrested, and turned him into a productive and reliable football player, yet people have the nerve to say Marvin can't handle his players. Stop it.

I get the point, then at the same time I don't

Just heard about the burfict suspension. No way in hell he wins that appeal. You ain't Brady bro.

Sidenote: Wife = hometown Sports team? I don't even want to be married but damn

Im not a fan of any NBA team. When Seattle gets a team back I will root for the Sonics. For now I just watch the players I like

I would like to know how someone can live in a professional teams market and choose to root for a team they have 0 connection with. Like did you wake up one day pull teams out of a hat? Did you think they had cute uniforms?

If ohioans don't want to be browns fans I don't blame them.
