He should. Minus some overthrows, Mallett did more and simply looked better playing with the same players. Mallett actually thought to try to get out the pocket when things broke down and get up the field. Hoyer was ready to crumple up at the slightest amount of pressure.

Such ********. Im sick of getting torched on the ground. I am sick of our general manager's for the past 20 years taking fast guys. You cant outscore everyone and every once in a while you will run into defensive teams who will stop your offense. Protect your franchise QB? Nah but lets get him another weapon but this one we wont use as a wr primarily but have him return punts and muff them.
