Romo slander still poppin here? :nerd:

It's hilarious,

When Romo had no oline and was running around with a broken back, people were critical of him,

Now he has an oline and its "OH HES SO LUCKY AND FORTUNE HE HAS THAT LINE" garbage.

But no one talks about Peyton and Brady having great olines throughout their career. But when they lead their team its nothing but praise for their play.

Clowns.

The Cowboys - Eagles game next week will get ugly fast.
what do you mean

No Dez means that it goes 1 of 2 ways..

Romo has to air it out too much. That could get ugly.
They try to run it a bunch. Either gets ugly because it's ineffective or things start to get chippy. Adding DeMarco to the mix on the other side only exacerbates it.

I expect the Eagles to end up trying to ram it down field as well, despite that not being Chip's philosophy. Just think that is the type of game it will devolve to - A lot of fighting for extra yards. And the rivalry making it chippy.

Can't win in football without an o-line word to Troy Aikman.

Yeah gonna be a tough one... add in the coverage the receivers get from dez attracting dbs gonna be gone.

Clearly missed the point of my post.

When posters praise Brady and Manning in times of success, the word "oline" is NEVER brought up. Just how well they performed surgery etc

When Romo does his thing, instead of giving him praise, it's "oh wow that oline man Romo is lucky" instead of giving him his props are you do other QBs. As if these other QB's haven't had good olines.

When Romo led the league in INTS for the first and only time in his career in 2012, his oline was abysmal. But all the clowns did was joke on how he's a turnover machine etc.

Romo finally had a good oline in 2013 and it got better last year. He still had 21 4th quarter comebacks prior to that with no oline while simultaneously having broken ribs, back, etc.

The double standards are hilarious

If Romo can consistently be as surgical as he was in that last drive, even remotely, they'll be ok imo

His second throw to Dunbar was a dart as Collinsworth pointed out, but he's picking at the mismatches, like he and Witten knew that LB was playing too far back for a comeback route. Ball was out right when Witten put on the breaks and began coming back for the ball. LB sees that, reacts based on that, but if Romo times it perfectly before Witten's cut back (like he did) the gap he has to make up is going to be too far no matter what he tries.

Six different Cowboys with at least 40 receiving yards. Amazing performance by Romo and the offensive line.

Not sure what exactly you're saying, but what do you believe is "chip's philosophy"?

Also letting Lance Dunbar look like a Pro Bowler, as the Cowboys went from their own 28 to the Giants 32 in two plays, probably isn't a good look for the Giants defense when it comes to big moments. Can't be quantified but they need leaders. Beason?

Dunbar looked like Barry Sanders that drive

Fast, uptempo. Tries to get you off-guard with different looks with blocking schemes, and relies on opening cutbacks as opposed to simple linear running through holes. He wants to fool the defense into giving them more places to go. May end up changing with Murray, but haven't seen much of them in preseason to know how different the offense is.

Where I think it devolves, and that all depends on how physical the Cowboys get (and based on previous experience they won't, and then they end up vastly in the disadvantage) is that the game ends up into a game of power running as opposed to spreading the field, to open up holes for cutbacks.

And if that happens, we end up with a game that gets out of hand either through bad plays or just guys getting penalized for being too amped up.
