32. Seattle Seahawks (30th)
Pass blocking rank:  32nd

Run blocking rank:  29th

Penalties rank:  17th

Stud:  Using the term “stud” loosely, it’s Russell Okung  (60.9for the Seahawks, the 35th-ranked NFL tackle  this season. That still puts his Seahawks peers to shame.

Dud:  There’s some strong competition here, but the play of Garry Gilliam (32.3in his 515 snaps takes the win. Only five tackles have a lower grade this season.

Summary:  Much has been made of the Seahawks’ struggles across the line, and you can’t say it’s unjustified. No line has a worse pass blocking efficiency score (they’ve combined to surrender 108 quarterback disruptions on 298 passing plays), and they’re not an awful much better in the run game. In Russell and Marshawn, they must trust.

Ryan Clark said after playing Cam Newton hes considering retirement.

bruh the slurpage on Cam Newton is at extraordinary levels.

I don't feel this way at all. I think in sports with 7 game series it's a lot easier to make that claim, but in the NFL I think it's pretty common that the best teams don't win the Super Bowl.

Just in recent memory, I don't believe the Giants were the best team in the league in either of their SB runs, and nor were the Ravens. The Giants went 10-6 and 9-7 those years, and the second year they got swept by my ****** 4-12 Skins.

Teams/players get hot and play well during the playoffs, and you can't take the title away from them obviously , but there's no way you will convince me the 07 Patriots weren't as good of a team as the Giants. Pretend the Pats lost to the Giants in the regular season but beat them in the Super Bowl and still finished 18-1, would anyone question that the Patriots were a far better team? Definitely not. Just because the Giants played a really good game, had crazy luck recovering their own fumbles and had that bs helmet catch, that doesn't mean I have to say they were the best team that year .

Bunch of ****:

Nah Football is a man's game. Put up or shut up. Period.

The SB winner is the only team with any claim of being the best for that season.

No brownie points for talent, or shoulda, coulda, would of. You were great all season and some other team was better when it mattered? Sorry better luck next year.

That's why the stakes are always gonna be higher in the NFL than a tournament in series format. You get 60 minutes, put up or shut up.

Who's the most talented team, what could happened given hypothetical XYZ, that's all great and will always be a part of it but it will never be absolute, definitive, etc. Winning the Super Bowl is.

Hell no

2007 Pats > 2007 Giants IMO.

Too many mediocre teams getting hot down the stretch and winning a SB for me to say that the SB champion is the clear cut best team in the league.

To this day I believe the Giants 07 team was a great team that finally reached its potential. They followed up the SB run by starting off 11-1 the next year and beating all four teams that eventually made it too the conference championship games. (of course this was all undone once Plax shot himself in the leg
