I hope this makes some of yall see right through the NFL's "no more" campaign. Greg Hardy is on a roster because he can still play at a high level. People running with the narrative that Ray Rice is blacklisted due to what happened to him and his fiancee in AC. Nah....Ray Rice isn't on a roster because he's washed. Nothing more nothing less. In the wake of these incidents, the NFL will do whatever damage control they can to help in the PR department. This is why you have guys like Cris Carter crying on screen advocating for DV victims. It's all a charade at the end of the day. DV is horrible. We all know this...however, winning (in the NFL/owners eyes) trumps EVERYTHING. This is exactly why the Cowboys and JJ can look at those photos and still sign Hardy to a deal...talk about extending him...consider him a LEADER  It goes on and on.

Greg Hardy is a true piece of crap.
Greg Hardy didn't knock ol girl out cold.

some of y'all are the type of cats who would side with your pops smacking up your mom because she was "out of line"

it's really sad
When did I say that? All Ive argued is that people (male and female) should keep their hands to themselves at all times.

At this point, you can't even respond to what some guys are saying. You have to let them dig their own grave.

So you guys think it's OK to beat woman as long as she takes money?

Did you even read those quotes that you quoted?  I ask because your question is completely unrelated to what you quoted.

You guys said he should be left alone because he payed his debts to her
My question is actually 100% about those comments

He paid his debt. Does it justify his actions? No. But it does mean he should be left alone.

That is my attempt at giving a serious answer to your idiotic question.

Personal position based on what I've seen and been through which is why I've been consistently saying "I'm a firm believer" meaning these are my beliefs. I'm not trying to get anyone on board with my beliefs, I'm just shedding light on some different viewpoints than the majority. I also said "this goes for men and women" to let it be known that my beliefs aren't just about her.

I also never said Greg was fully innocent in regards to what happened that night between the two.

As far as clients go, when you have a legit case that can make a real impact in this country and decide to settle for the money instead, yes I consider you "soft minded" ... If it makes sense to settle, lets say you had a slip and fall accident at work because the janitor didn't put the caution while wet signs, then I have no problem with that at all. My issues are with bigger things like DV, rape, police brutality, racial profiling, etc.

are you a lawyer or you work for a law firm in another capacity?

I wouldn't take a case of someone I thought was soft minded, you know a person's intentions early on the majority of times. If you take a case just to get paid then that is pretty hypocritical coming from your stance of people being in these positions being soft minded.

I gave you an example of a case where I think it's ok to settle as well as what I don't think is appropriate to settle for. How did you even formulate the idea of me taking on anything just to get paid out of what i said?

To answer that, as a whole, we usually don't take on cases in which we deem as "money grabs" .. those cases get sent to other locations. Do some go after those cases, of course, it comes with the territory but I'm not a supporter of it. I rather assist you on a free pro-bono opposed to helping you with your money grabbing scheme.

And you're right, when you first meet a client usually you can tell what they're here for, it's up to you if you feel like it's worth investing your time or not.

So you think we should leave men alone who beat woman as long as the woman takes money

And hardy throwing her on a couch full of weapons and into a bathtub couldn't kill her?
I don't know if that happened, I haven't seen video proof of Hardy doing that. I've seen video proof of Rice knocking out his girl so It's def worse in my opinion.

Until someone can produce greater evidence in the Hardy case it's all hearsay to me.

they are saying as long as the person who he directly affected, -> the accuser or the justice system -> is satisfied with the punishment, then yes, we should leave them alone.

Y'all are ridiculous. I can't even troll with my usual Josh Gordon nonsense with the stupidity some of you guys are spewing. Hardy should be in jail plain and simple.

Cool I'm gonna go find a woman down the street who will let me beat the **** out of her for a cool $100
