As someone who has been subject to domestic vioiolence from a female all I argue is that one should look at both sides of a story and all the evidence before we make conclusions. My girl prob had bruises when I grabbed her and shook her after she hit me in the head with my ps3. Bruises don't tell the full story.

No. You were stopping someone from assaulting you. I've had a ex slap me in the face. I grabbed and held her until she calmed down.

All this new awareness about domestic violence doesn't give women the right to abuse us as they see fit without repercussions. We shouldn't beat them. We also shouldn't be assaulted and have the right to defend ourselves without crossing that line.
