Tannehill was great til the last couple of drives and the defense played great in the 2nd half outside of that last drive which was aided by that bad personal foul.

What you meant to say was until the Jags figured out that every single play call was going to be a pass and then rushed the living hell out of a PUTRID OLine to give Ryan exactly no time to complete any more throws.

And the D was much better in the second half. Thankfully they held Blake Bortles to only 300 yards and 20 points in the first half.

I know that's what you meant, was just clarifying for the others.

Tebow time in Dallas :nerd:,?

Ah, but on a serious note, sucks to see Romo get hurt, even being a Giants fan. Lots of QBs getting banged up, Cutler also might be a multi-week injury....

......purely conjecture however.

Stafford had to get X-Rays after the game as well, reportedly was in a lot of pain in the locker room.

No one asked Stafford if the xrays were negative, but he had nothing on his chest/ribs as he dressed. Just moving slow, breathing hard

Matthew Stafford got x-rays on his ribs and chest after the game. He looked to be in a lot of pain in the locker room.

(Birkett is the Lions beat writer).

Rough week.

Is Antonio Brown the best WR in the NFL?

Yes.

Which is moderately devastating for three reasons.

1. Le'Veon Bell is the best RB in the NFL (IMO).
2. Le'Veon Bell is also a Steeler.
3. Le'Veon Bell isn't a Giant.

:frown:

**** Rashad Jennings, I want the Giants to go out and sign Ahmad Bradshaw NAOW!!!!!!!

I get the love for Julio right now, I really do. But if you look at the consensus 'top' receivers (Megatron, Dez, Julio, Green), none of them have been as consistent as AB has been over the last two, going on three seasons. Now, of course a couple of those guys have battled injuries and whatnot but you can't use that against AB because he's been THAT good.

Nobody can cover this man. He's quick as ****, can run any route on the field, and he routinely makes catches that makes you wonder how the hell he did it. I don't know why people have been hesitant to say he's the best, but he's been making his case for a while now.

Love what Joe Barry has done with the defense so far. I didn't like the hire and there is still a LONG way to go, but he's got these guys swarming to the ball, getting pressure on the QB from the D-Line, and good tackling. This is McCloughan's blueprint, but Barry is doing some nice things out there. Makes you realize how stupid Haslett was. The defense has a physicality/nastiness that has been missing for years. Just gotta keep it up. :pimp:

The one thing we do well and always have is run the rock. Currently ranked 1st in the league. We keep that up and we'll be in most games. We're not built to play from behind.

Thursday will be the real test. Road game vs a division opponent in a must win situation. 0-3 is almost a death sentence in the NFL.

The Dolphins could've run the ball more but they were having success throwing the ball, what screwed them up were the penalties that forced them in long yardage situations on 3rd down.

Tannehill passed 44 times and got hit 6 times...you don't want your quarterback getting hit but that's not awful. Only like 2 pressures came from a 4 man rush. When the defense brings 5 or 6 they should get presure.

Yes the Dolphins defense gave up plays in the first half but they had like 5 straight 3 and outs in the 2nd half and had only given up like 50 yards til the last drive.

I think the Dolphins loss more about penalties than any one unit.

By the way their offseason looked you would think the Saints were switching to a running team and a faster defense

That plan is biting them real quick

"Byron Maxwell commented after the game that the reason why he gave up that final touchdown to Williams was that he was "only human" and "tired."
