Not used to see Jets' great passing game.

Chan Gailey is a heck of an offensive coordinator.
 
Either some QB's get a ton of second chances like Fitzpatrick for some reason or that speaks to how desperate some teams are for a QB.
 
You can tell how much Geno Smith really sucks when you watch Ryan Fitzpatrick smoothly move this offense down the field.


Colts defense or not, Geno would not be hitting these receivers in their chest like this.

in this era, teams would rather have a serviceable QB like Fitz who generally is a good game manager rather than someone with a big arm and potential for a big play and huge mistake

Yeah you're right thats exactly it. Alot of teams have to settle for QB's that are just optimal.
