Why would Eye Test be a surprise? What other metric, stat or accomplishments did I use in the debate? I clearly stated he led those Dallas teams as the vocal and emotional leader. That is a intangible.

You guys clearly didn't read what I wrote if that is news to you. Clearly.

Ummm

His college career makes up for the gap in numbers between himself and Rice on the pro level. Irvin had a better body of work as a WR college and pro.

Dudes acting like the eye test isn't used in arguments everyday. It's a clear part of any sports discussion. You can't simply go off numbers and accomplishments. If you did you'll eventually come to some players being better that you know damn well aren't. So please miss me with the eye test jokes.

Nah man you've inspired me.

Jaws tell me I'm wrong, fool.

The eye test is a part of the equation, maybe bigger if 2 players have the same level of accomplishment.

The thing with the eye test, different people see different things.

Terry Bradshaw is actually the perfect example of numbers and titles not telling the whole story. His numbers in respect to his era were all time great. He doesn't get top 5 consideration from anyone I know.

Are Paytons numbers greater then the 3 SBs? That's what I was getting at earlier. How do folks factor in SB and numbers. It seems done at random when it benefits their argument.

Nobody gonna quote this and explain the Terry paradox? Does everyone think he's top 5 and I'm assuming they don't?

I mean 4 SBs with accomplishments. Retiring high in stats. Why wouldn't he be better then everyone but Brady in this pass happy, anti defense era?

I think Rodgers is better but based off accomplishments I don't know anymore. My eyes tell me Rodgers is better though.
