The tank in full effect :pimp:

Are you really rooting for the tank?

Can never tell if fans are serious or just putting up a front like they don't care if their team sucks.

Srs.

I have never rooted for the Bengals or Lakers to tank, it's just not where it's at in my eyes.

you never root for your team to lose but it's better to win 3 games & get a top 5 pick than win 8 games & have pick 18 or whatever

If that happens, so be it, but I want this team to show some life and win, put a good product on the field. Plus, out of these college QB names that keep coming up, none of them to me scream Luck, Russell, Ben, etc. ****, I don't even see a Stafford.

But isn't "tanking" losing on purpose?

That's my question.

I have never rooted against my team.

I remember a few years ago I think it was Jacksonville vs Indy and Jacksonville booed their team for winning and taking them out the Luck sweepstakes

As they should, selfish short term decision to win instead of the good long term decision with a loss.

Saints CB Delvin Breaux allowed only 2 catches for 20 yards last night (plus 2 PDs). Has allowed just 199 yards on the season.

Remember the Abdullah hype?

Aight, he'll be okay if he can stop fumbling. I just still don't think he's special like everybody on here did after preseason game one

 Samsung phone and all that.

Much better than the blimp idea.
The Colts have decided that they don't want anyone in Indianapolis taunting Tom Brady before this Sunday's game between Indy and New England.

A group of Colts fans were planning on paying for a blimp that was going to fly around Indy on Sunday with a sign that said "#DeflateThisBrady." However, that's not going to happen anymore because the Colts have asked the blimp company not to do it.

According to WRTV in Indy, the company, Air Sign, agreed not to fly the blimp because it wants to maintain a good relationship with the Colts.

"We at AirSign.com have always felt that aerial advertisement is a fun experience and it is used to bring a positive and as you saw, humorous angle to events or occasions," company rep Eddie Thompson said. "We want to continue to work alongside the Colts in future campaigns."

Before the blimp idea was shot down, the fans had set up a GoFundMe account where other Colts fans could donate to help pay for the blimp. The account has since been shut down.

It's probably a good thing the blimp's not flying because the Colts have enough problems stopping Brady when he's not being taunted.

The Colts faced Brady twice last year and the Patriots quarterback threw for a total of five touchdowns in two games that New England won by an average of 30 points.

Of course, even if the blimp had flown there's a good chance Brady wouldn't have seen it because Sunday's game will likely be indoors. The last time the Colts hosted a primetime game was on Monday night in Week 2 when their retractable roof was closed, despite good weather.

There's no lottery. Teams should take advantage. Pride be damned.

This basically means "please don't anger Brady more than he'll already be"

Not sold on him being an every down back, reminds me of Gio.

Of course the Colts fan nobody ever hears from would come up with a stupid idea like that.

Since 2013 until present day, the Colts are a perfect 15-0 in the regular season vs. the AFC South. They're 10-12 vs. everyone else in that same timeframe.

I knew it was one-sided, but wasn't expecting those splits.

Fool's gold *** squad.

Why not have pride & try and win? 2 high double digit loss seasons in 3 seasons isn't a good look.

Because winning achieves nothing. Don't you think Jacksonville would rather have Andrew Luck than Blake Bortles right now?

You grossly over simplifying it.

If tanking for draft position was a viable strategy for future success, teams would actually do it.
