State one interesting fact about yourself.

I was the student council president, voted most talented/artistic and held the district record for the 110 meter hurdles my senior year of high school. My time is only 1.63 seconds slower than the current world record. An ankle injury killed my run in the regional race.

Back in 09' had a severe seizure while driving from LA to my college in the central valley, about an hour into the drive I went blind on the freeway but somehow was able to pull over without getting hit. I tapped the call button on my phone and it my dad answered, it turned out that he was working in that area of the San Fernando Valley where I was and ending up dragging me out of my car and taking me to a local hospital before I passed out. Pops saved my life.

I was once interviewed for a story on NPR

My girlfriend is a better gamer than I am, she goes to super smash brothers tournaments

I seriously can not float in water

This...will be taking a trip to the dead sea to see if that holds true tho...

Also I've lived in 5 countries and because of that I am still a refugee :smh:

I have geographic tongue.

I've met Ellie Mannet. He's kind of like the father of Steel Pan you could say.

Here's a real one though:

One hobby of mine used to be meeting hip-hop artists before/after their shows.   Here's a lit of who I have met/taken pictures with, etc.

Lil B The Based God

Tyler, The Creator

El-P

Killer Mike

Blu

Exile

Freddie Gibbs

Killah Priest

Action Bronson

Flying Lotus

Can you post how it was meeting each one if you have time? Mostly FlyLo & Bronson.

Blu wasn't too cool man.  I had stayed after to try to catch a flick with him, there was these two ugly groupies talking him up, I'm all trying to start a convo with him, he looks real uninterested in what I have to say and is just like take the pic already,  That was that.  But he did compliment my Earl Sweatshirt hoodie.  I guess he was okay.

Action Bronson was real dope, I'm sure you been to a live show of his before.  One of my very first shows, at UCSD.  He jumped off stage, shared some joints with his, played some of his rawer joints off Dr. Lecter, much appreciated

Right after the show, he have a shoutout to all my real fans, I'm about to sell out after this

, this was in late 2011 I believe.  I took a pic with him afterwards, he was real cool about it, I asked him what it was like to work with Ghostface, he was like it was a dream come true.  Humble dude.  Actually bumped into him again at Coachella 2013, where he got a dude in a wheelchair to crowd surf.  Unbelievable.

Flying Lotus was real chill, great, nice guy.  First bumped into him at Hard Summer 2013, he was lurking after his set and taking photos and talking to dudes.  Told him I appreciated all the stuff he was doing at Adult Swim and been a longtime fan, right about as I'm about to take a picture with him, some security dude in a cart bumps into the girl whose taking the picture and messed up the photo and tells us we have to leave.  Saw him when he was in town, lurked around for a bit and got the picture with him.  He seemed to be in a hurry, but I got the photo with him.

Lil B, believe it or not, was probably the best experience out of all of them.  I told him all of the ups and downs I had through my life and how his music and attitude had impacted me through it all, he listened to every word and I was grateful.

Some more stories.

I was off work one weekend (used to work at a medical mj clinic) and decided to go to Fairfax, Los Angeles to visit the Supreme and Odd Future Stores, back when hype for Odd Future was out of this world.  I'm chilling with some dude I had just met, we're going down Fairfax and I see some tall dude skating in front of the store, I'm like yeah that was to be Tyler.  I park the car, walk down, as calmly as possible talk to dude, but everything just kinda spills out, I'm stan-ing all over the guy and he's just trying to chill with his friends, pretty much everything that went on in the song Colossus happened.  Take a picture with him, in the picture you can tell he's just like who is this dude lmao.

Freddie Gibbs, I had seen at the Odd Future Carnival III, in the beginning of the day.  Half the kids scurried over the Bronson, who I had seen plenty of times, and Freddie is that dude so I obviously stayed to see him.  He performed most of the stuff off his latest album, Piñata, didn't do too many old bangers, but nonetheless killed it.  I was chilling in the back after Rick Ross has killed it, just waiting for Tyler to perform when I saw this bald black guy with his crew about teen feet from me.  I take one good look and I'm like whoa that's Freddie Gangsta Gibbs.  I ask some woman to take a pic of the two of us, tell him he's real dope and that he killed it.  Humble/real dude.

As for Big Killer Mike, we've met a few times actually.  First time I was in New York and caught El-P/Killer Mike back when they were solo artists working with one another.  I was chilling outside the venue afterwards, then caught Killer Mike, told him I was a huge fan, got a picture, he told me he appreciate me and was a stand up, nice dude.  Next time I saw him, I caught him here in Socal, I had just gotten back from Hard Summer and was still hype from that lmao.  Was trying to start a mosh pit, but dudes just were not having it.  It was a bunch of white dudes in button up shirts just nodding there head and they just didn't get hype or understand the hype I was on.  Killer Mike actually stopped the show, addressed me and was like yo Earl Sweatshirt, calm down (cause I was wearing the Earl hoodie).  Then this last time, I caught Run the Jewels (Killer Mike + El-P) here locally and was hype for the show.  Small venue, things usually get live there.  Not the craziest of pits, but it was certainly live.  During their song, Get It, one of their dopest tracks, I literally was crowd surfing for the entirety of the song, a good five minutes.  After the song, Killer Mike pointed to me and was like, yeah that's one bad mf'er over there.

Good times.
