I'm an Episcopalian and love it. Our church is a little more 'modern' than many of the other Christian denominations though (Pro-LGBT, ordained women, priests can marry, etc). We've had gay men and women as bishops/priests for years so really... business as usual.

Im christian so i think this is bs, but i mean they never get in my way, mess wit my pockets, ruin my day or mess wit my family so **** it, they still gona continue livin the same way.






But if i cant walk to the corner store and cop a dime sack and some cigarillos and a vitamin water and a bag of flamin hot funnyns and a pack of gum, and a box of rubbers in one transaction in the next year, i have no faith in merica

Christian is my religioun, that doesnt mean im all holy and live by what god says. I mess up all the time and dont even claim to be born again. My religioun is christian, but im not saved.

I love jesus crispies, especially when they quote the bible when it comes to being anti-gay or any political stance.

There are bible verses that support white supremecy & slavery too... Ephesians 6:5, Titus 2:9. There are even verses that oppose interracial marriage Deuteronomy 7:3 & Corinthians 6:14...

How am i posing? By saying im aware i am a sinner because i have yet to become born again but still acknowledging my faith in god?


My first post says basiclly that i aint even trippin over this but just for the fact yall saw 'christian' in my post yall wana try to talk down. Yall sound dumber then a bag of rice

I have a feeling some states are going to try to find ways to hinder the process if same sex couples want to get married..."Technical Issues" etc.... I'm looking at you Texas...
 
Pride is going on this weekend too in SF. It's about to be nuts out here.

I can't wait till all this subsides though. So many people will voice their opinions on this and bash it when it really should have been law a long time ago. After a few months/years, all this will just be normal.
 
Pretty cool to see the LBGT movement finally getting the results they wanted. They've been campaigning hard for years for this.


I'm confused at all this religious freedom talk on the news though, what does YOUR religious freedom have to do with MY choice to marry who I want to marry? The only exception I can see is if you're a clergymember and you choose not to marry gay people under your religion, but besides that I don't understand how any regular joe christian is impacted.

It's strange in this country how people get so hurt over things that will have little to no impact in their immediate everyday lives.
