These are releasing in USA, Europe and Australia. I thought if they were releasing in Australia that they would release in the Philippines. Are Jordans popular in the Philippines?

Jordan's in general are popular, but the 11s are by far the most popular and desired here in the Philippines (up to the point of being annoying actually). I say annoying because people here try to resell the patent leather lows for $300USD. Even USED mids are trying to be sold for what are DS prices every where else in the world.

The AJ1s aren't as popular compared to in the states, and the backlash to that is that 1s become very limited as a result. SBBs were released at VERY limited numbers (QS level) and the Chicago 1s didn't even release here.

A few years ago, Jordan's used to be ridiculously marked up in price, maybe because of taxes and shipping fee which made them about $50USD above retail price (and hype/demand). Recently however, prices have calmed down and pretty much match retail + tax level, which shows that the demand is also slowing down.

It's Under Armour that's marked up especially the Currry's (about $60USD above box price). Stores are taking advantage of the Filipino Bandwagon fans and trying to cash in on it.

2-3 years ago, everyone in Manila was cheering on LeBron and the Miami Heat. Now people are rocking Curry t-shirts and claiming they're "Dub Nation".

But yeah, "Cyber Monday" isn't a thing here since Internet shopping hasn't been adopted. Can thank the government and corrupted companies for that.

Jordan buyers chose between 8's and 1's this week imo. A yeezy drop would only tempt me to resale for more 1's or other more practical/classic shoes.
