Leather is very nice on these. Bit thin around the toe box, but nice quality all over. One of my heel panels almost has a tumbled look to it. Very happy with them. Was going to pass, glad I picked them up.

My dad couldn't take me to the mall yesterday to pick these up, hopefully I'll be able to easily walk out with my size before I go to work. Might dye the soles too.

To those who has them, are they true to size? The 1 low sizing were off for me so I wanted to know if this release follows

Low 1s always size down don't go TTS or you'll be swimming in boats. Highs go regular TTS. I wear a size 10 in Highs & size 8.5 or 9 in lows

I'm glad these were so readily available this morning and hope everyone who wanted a pair was able to get them.

I find myself alternating between different black/white sneakers vans, chucks, nike free run 2 and I've come to realize that I've gained a whole new appreciation for black and white sneakers. I love the clean simplicity of black and white sneakers and how when taking a closer look you see each model having its own unique characteristics and history etc.. I like having that option of going for that everyday look, but still being able to switch it up. Being older I'm a sucker for clean and simple silhouettes/colorways, Once I saw the leather I was in. I can't wait to to see how these wear with age. Anyone else loving those faded/undyed edges of the leather against that all black upper?

Haven't been buying too many Jordans or nikes in general over the last year or so, but these, the patch am1/patch 90s, and the huarache trainers are right up my alley. I'm embarrassingly admitting to going over board on these simply because of the versatility. I ended up getting 3 pairs..one to beat. one for casual wear, and 1 for later. I love clean black/white colorways on any sneaker, but on a Jordan 1 i think it makes a clean yet bold statement. The Jordan 1 isn't my favorite model but it is my favorite model to wear casually. For me this is one of those colorways I can see myself wearing all the time. Like I said I'm excited to see how these age over time and will enjoy the contrast of alternating between a worn pair and a fresh pair.

How many coats are you planning to put on? Same dye from Ang's?
Appreciate it.  Depending on how it looks this evening, I might throw one more coat on there.  Yeah it's the same Angelus dye.  I mixed a little of their Sole Bright just to see what would happen.  But you could go 100% dye for this & be fine.

I thought that the dye only took to translucent soles? Wont that just chip off?

The dye itself is for leather/suede products (depending on which one you get).  Using the sole bright along with the dye is what's suggested to dye the translucent soles.  I tested dying the soles of a old pair of kicks I had.  I've done several "wear test" on that shoe & nothing has come off yet.

For anyone brave enough a LM sole custom would be interesting on these
