Album is funky but I gotta be honest on first listen all the beats are too similar. I get the vibe just wish it was a lil more diverse beat wise.

This joint is KNOCKING tho.
I appreciate the effort even more just cause of how West Coast this album is.
The internet has regional sounds all blended and only a few really stay true to region's sound when putting out an album.

YG may have back to back classics. Heard this in the whip last night and the cohesiveness and flow of this album is very parallel. I wasn't feeling "Still Brazy" (title track) when i heard it as a single. But when you hear the album from beginning and let it flow... Man, YG team knows how to put albums together. You can tell this dude has listened to his forefathers and developed an uncanny ability to develop a sound for an entire project.
Young Gangsta isn't lyrically but he just provides a nostalgic feel of the 90's and early 2000's West coast music. I'm officially on the 4Hunnid bandwagon.

Gotta disagree fam. He delivered front to back and showed us he can put out a great album without Mustard.
Album is cohesive and sonically, it sounds great.
A good mixture of rachet and self-righteousness.

Ouch. I like this cd. Not as good as his first one. I imagine he will go back to DJ Mustard for his next one. They have great chemistry but he messed up not using him.
