Asian On Asian Racism? Have You Experienced Or Witnessed It?

He's one of them self-hating Asians huh

I just don't mess with Clayton Bigsby characters yah know, be proud of what you are instead of accepting "dominant" society culture
Because white society really don't give a F about Asians
So no matter how white you are in the inside, you're still are an Oriental to them.
/rant

hes half white and people who look at him dont think "He's asian" Tho I could see it.

I have literally never met anyone in my life who loves themselves more than this guy.

Nah he just thinks asians in general are feminine. Not every single one. And if I were to ask him for his hierarchy of races I dont think asians would be close to the bottom.

We dont see eye to eye on everything but I **** with him. We do see eye to eye on a lot of things. Especially things where I am one of the few that has opened their eyes to such things. Tho I wont take the thread in that direction.

And his character just proves that recent movements have exposed how girls should be treated despite society conditioning us to think othwrwise. Dude would go through 20sum women a semester.

I can't not **** with him.

And the Asian hierarchy is japanese at the top ever since Japan became the first asian nation to defeat a european power in the Russo Japanease war

Japan has been at the top since 1905. Koreans thinking they are at the top in the asian hierarchy is laughable

Japan
Korea and china are on the same level but korea will be in third place soon
All other asians are on the lower level of the totem pole

LMFAO. You sound like a kid who just took a basic East Asian history course. I'm literally crying right now.

Edit*

And the fact that you said Japanese is at the top of the Asian hierarchy shows your stupidity and racism. Are you really ranking which Asians are better? When I said "Korea's on top" I meant economically in accordance to their economic growth. After the U.S. Crushed the Zaibatsu Japan faced horrible economic growth. It took years for them to come back. Not to mention the 1990s where Japan faced horrible natural disasters (hanshin earthquake) which added insult to injury considering the fact that Japan faced horrible economic growth. Then looks at the 2011 earthquake which greatly declined Japanese exports since Japan practically ran on nuclear energy. Look up the stats boy.

SE Asians are definitely looked down upon by the rest of Asia. I know for a fact some people get offended if you call them Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian, etc.

I kind of partake in it tbh

growing up in basically areas where my family were the only asians def fed into this as well
ohwell.gif

If that's true He holds black people in high esteem for one of "those types" of white people
Black men are considered more masculine when compared to Asian men by white society
And I wanna guess that his dad is white and his mom is the Asian.
If not, then I'm shocked.

Your friend is dumb
He really believes the mainstream media portrayal of Asian males as being demasculated and the only way for acceptance is to adopt white culture :smh:
Just smh all around
If that fool were to say that I was feminine to my face, he would catch a fade.

He has a lot of other straight Bill O Reilly inflammatory opinions too

IDK man. He's pretty big despite being short. A lot people much taller than him have told me they wouldnt mess with him.

The hell does height have to do with anything?

where you from fam?

I haven't encountered any of this in So Cal. Some people here would rather have you recognize their ethnicity rather than call them American

I wasnt talking just masculinity. That isnt the measure he uses to judge people. Like he doesnt think asians are some sort of inferior race.

It ain't sudden lol
It been like that since Imperialism times

Modesto, CA has a huge Cambodian population. I was seeing a girl out there. Nice girl and really didn't know anything of her culture. But man, they can be some wild people. I ran into like a pack of them at some Chinese restaurant after a club. All of them were drunk and started acting up int he restaurant. I was with a couple of girls at the time and we left and one started talking mess to them and like 20 of them surrounded us. Started talking about how they were going to shoot me and my homie cause we were the guys. My girl buddy called one of the guys third world ugly and he got mad. I thought he went overboard but I see his point. Haha.

i cant think of an asian country who's people chinese people dont hate
Lol Chinese people within their own groups don't like each other.
The majority, Han Chinese, always have differences with the 55 minority groups living in China. Even the subgroups of Han beef and talk mad poop about each other.

Yes, family members have been in business with other Asians.

Here's what they think in general:

Japan - Very respectful, lot of integrity, but very cheap

Korea - Guys are cold, girls are princesses who thrive on drama; generally only hang with other Koreans; strange because I'm cool with a lot of Korean folks

China - Very smart, go-getter types, but can be very impersonal/unfriendly

Vietnam - Hard-working folks, but can be very slimey/snake-like

Thailand - Very kind and accommodating people, less business-like than others

Philippines - Very friendly, flexible people who welcome you like family; they seem to enjoy life the most; I'm personally partial to Filipino girls
Whuh bout Cambodians? For some reason, in HS, I knew mostly Cambodians. Filipino's as well.

Cambodians, Thai, Lao people all have very similar customs in their way of life. They arent the same though so it's like calling a British person, Irish or Scottish and vice versa. Most of em are either very americanized, traditional or a mixture of both. Most, includimg myself are 1st generation Americans. Much different than Chinese, Japanese or Koreans who can be 2nd or even 3rd or 4th gen Americans.

Filipinos on the other hand are very Americanized. They learn English at a very young age in the Philippines and are very accustomed to the American culture and entertainment. I used to work with a lot of of em and learned a lot from them. Generally they associate as Asians but there are few who like to be known as Islanders or even deep into their own native culture or Spanish heritage.

Just thought about Hines Ward's story as a mixed kid, and how some Koreans disrespected him and his mom when he went to go visit South Korea one time. Once he became a Super Bowl champion, he's loved.

I've always heard some of these stories but it's cool seeing Asian members speak on it
