OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I didn't plan on waiting on a RB til the 3rd or 4th round, but I kinda got forced into it. By the time it was the 3rd round most of the RB's were :rolleyes and I was skeptical on taking a risk in such an early round.

This is how my team ended up, PPR league btw:

What do you guys think/any suggestions? I know my RB's are a bit sketch, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to part ways with one of my big 3 WR's to go out and try to get an elite back, especially in a PPR league. (BTW Hernandez has been my good luck charm in this league the past few seasons :lol: )
 
^^ Yeah I don't play in standard leagues so all of my opinions are biased towards PPR leagues. Standard leagues suck :lol:.

illvine illvine how many teams in that league? Baffled you were able to get Brown/Julio/Jeffrey in a PPR.

bell, could lose a lot of touches to abdullah or very well get hurt. 

stacked at the WR position, wait it out and then see who needs a legit #1 WR

I have never seen a draft where you get Antonio Brown and Julio Jones on the same team. In all the leagues I am in Antonio Brown goes in the top 4 pics and Julio Jones goes no later than 8. So you have two amazing wide receivers that's for sure

And thats why you wait on backs in smaller leagues... if gordon does anything at all for you easy chip. Alshon n the flex in a ppr... hah you will have a bye
 
kept antonio and jordy in my keeper league (PPR) and im going either julio or demariyus in the first round. not really feeling any of the RBs left at my spot so i'm going zero RB.
 
I did a mock going WR WR first two rounds out of the 8 hole. Took Dez and Megatron. RB had to settle on Lamar Miller which I'm fine with as an RB2 and Joseph Randle which I wasn't crazy about. Stacked my bench with Ivory, Vereen, Gurley and Foster.

Think I'd rather go WR RB and then target Miller as my RB2. PPR league.

Thinking the same way coming out the 8 spot in a 12 team PPR league...Debating if I should just pull the trigger on Andrew Luck with my 2nd pick.
 
Do the other team owners in your league not know football illvine illvine ? How the hell did you land those 3 AND have Cruz on your bench :lol:

They absolutely do, big money league going on our 6th year now so I'll take that as a compliment :lol:

Cruz is ranked unbelievably low on ESPN, I wana say ~121st and so from doing mock drafts a few days prior to that I knew to keep that up my sleeve. I took him in the later rounds, probably could have gotten him even later but I didn't want to take the chance of waiting cause in those late rounds people start fishing and/or trying to get their sleepers.

I definitely lucked out with my 3 starting receivers, but I'm definitely taking a risk with my RB's. While my big 3 WR's are beasts, I think we all know how fantasy goes and how those 3 won't always come through week in week out so I'm going to definitely need some production out of those backs

Honestly , if you go by ESPN adp'syou know nothing about football. But hey , if you play with lambs you bring them to the slaughter house.

I strongly advise against the zero RB strategy, it sounds cute, but ideally you're going to struggle immensely

if you go by any websites stock ADP you're a moron. Picking players because they are simply ON THE SCREEN NEXT is foolish and means you lack any real skill to do your own rankings or evaluations

A good friend of mine won the NFFC PRIMETIME national contest 150,000 by taking wr's his first 4 picks. He hit on a couple late round rb's and had a killer team. In these contests I play in you start 1qb,2rb,3wr,1te,1flex, k,def . there are more than one way to win. Just got to stay healthy and make the right mid round picks.

Either him or McFadden will have a big year...it's just too hard to tell right now with neither of them having even played a preseason game yet. Randle had the highest YPC in the league last year of RB's that got at least 50 carries. Great elusiveness but he runs real upright and is pretty damn thin for somebody you'd give 20+ carries to a game.
 
I could be wrong but I just can't bring myself to draft McFadden.I think its going to be Randal or somebody not on the roster yet. Rice , kiry Robinson if cut , Bradshaw. Guys like rice or Bradshaw are not guaranteed any money if signed after week one. If signed before week one they are guaranteed a good chunk of money. This is a major reason why they are not signed yet along with there history.
 
Randle got hurt yesterday

I think I might just stay away from those RBs

I just feel like they're both injury prone, and both will battle injuries throughout the year. Khiry Robinson would do work behind that line if he was released.
