OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I have no fears about Ingram as a RB2. He's looked good to me in pre season.. I feel like they are making a conscious effort to run the ball more.. Their line is also good right?

My concerns:

1.  Has Ingram ever had "that" season?  How many years in is he?

2.  Why did they sign C.J. Spiller if they believe he can be that guy?

I took Devonta Freeman in the 7th and feel better about him than Ingram.

Then again I'm biased because I've had Ingram twice in the past after listening to some "experts" and he was pure garbage.

Jahri Evans is one of the best, if not the best, OG in the game. They traded for Unger in the Jimmy deal. Armstead is one of the more athletic LT in the league, minor similarities to Jason Peters, although Strief has been a shell of himself the past year and a half for the Saints.

Is any picking up Martavis Bryant, and stashing him on the bench until his suspension is up?

I've thought about offering Rashad Jennings for CJ Spiller. It's PPR and I'm sure the Spiller owner has his worries about the knee scope and if he's gonna be ready for Week 1.

ingram was solid the second half of the season and if he rides that wave which loks like he is doing during preaseson he could be a very solid RB2

I'm going for Wheaton in PPR formats instead. He's a potential WR3 that should catch a lot of balls with Bryant out serving suspension.

Bryant is a TD machine, something Latimer can do for Denver this season despite a rough preseason. However, Berry posted that since 2001, WR catching at least 8 TD with less than 40 receptions (Henry and Reggie Williams), caught three or fewer TD the following season.

This player is going to inherit Graham's TDs. Huge target.

Drew Brees said he has "a great comfort level" with Brandon Coleman.

Coleman started the third preseason game over Marques Colston, relegating Colston to the slot in three-wide sets. Coleman's exact role in the Saints' offense remains to be seen. He has just one catch for 27 yards this preseason. Sep 2 - 5:25 PM

Coleman's one of my deeper/later sleepers on my cheat sheet I sent to johnnyredstorm johnnyredstorm and @dland24.

Stills gone too. Cooks is going to catch 80+ balls, I'm certain of it as he transitions into a back-end WR1. Coleman may push for a WR3/Flex spot. Big receiver from Rutgers, surprisingly fluid and smooth with routes for a WR his size. Comparable to a poor man's Kelvin Benjamin.

Valid points, but I actually feel like there's answers to both

1. Last season he missed 3 games and still finished tied for #14 best fantasy back. He was a sure fire mid range RB2 last season, almost a true RB1. This season I fully expect him to at least replicate those numbers and possibly increase with a new focus on running and making moves to improve the line

2. I believe they signed Spiller to really commit to running. Spiller is in no way shape or form a threat to Ingram. He will just be a guy to catch the ball and try to stretch the defense. He's already been hurt too so who knows what his early impact will be...

I wanna grab Brandon Coleman so bad in my dynasty league but I hate making preseason cuts . Honestly don't even know who I'd let loose for him. I own him in a regular league though so I guess that'll do.

Draft took a little over 2 hours. I had the 1st overall pick; cool having the b2b, but that 22 pick wait (12 league team) hurts big time.

Not the biggest fan of my squad to be honest, especially my weak sauce bench. Any comments/tips are welcomed please :frown:

QB(s)- Stafford and Bridgewater
WR(s)- Antonio Brown, Hilton, Larry Fitz, Malcom Floyd, Nate Washington, Stedman Bailey, Breshard Perriman
RB(s)- Ingram, Ivory, Sankey, Sims
TE(s)- Jordan Cameron, Richard Rogers
K- Dan Bailey
DEF- Panthers

I have an old mac from 2007

It still runs great but I can't login to ESPN for some reason

Do you guys know any alternate way to possibly login?

What's on the wire?

Bryce brown- Bobbie Dixon or karlos Williams, who's the handcuff?
Karlos Williams, but an undisclosed medical procedure is always worrisome.

delanie walker or rudolph?
Walker and it's not close. Only Olsen and Gronk had more 100-yard games than Walker last year.

seriusouly what do yall think abot doug martin this year
Competing to be a borderline RB2, but RB3/Flex at worst. He's looked great this summer and primed for redemption. Sims is not an active threat, IMO. Let's not forget Martin caught nearly 50 balls his rookie season too. I'd like to see Tampa implement him again more as a pass-catcher even with Sims as the change-of-pace back.

is it a mistake to go back to back WR in the first two rounds?
BPA. It's becoming more common to NOT take a RB within the first 2 rounds.

10 man standard league...had the 5th pick. Thoughts?
Just had a similar 10 team hometown draft, except PPR. You did well. Kelce is the only other early TE I care for other than Gronk. Assume you extracted value with the Brady selection. RB2 looks good whether it's Hyde or becomes Martin later in the season.

Hillman is going to take C.J.'s job before the end of the season. One of my bolder predictions. If only Hillman was better in pass protection.

I also think Matt Jones will be the starter in Washington before long. Never loved Morris, essentially had one good season with RG3.

I got the 8th pick and I have no idea who I want yet. Thinking about Hill and Julio for my 1st two picks or going Julio/Tron.
In PPR, I would go Julio then Megatron (over Hill). RBs in R3 and R4.

this is a mock draft i did, its very similar in the direction im trying to go.
Nothing wrong with going WR/WR, but you need better RB. I don't trust Miller as a legitimate RB1, and a healthy Ajayi could challenge later in the season when he hits stride.

Don't wait too long for Big Ben. He's my 4th best fantasy QB this year after Luck, Rodgers, Russ.

Here's where we stand (12 man standard):

Ben R.

McCoy

Hyde

Antonio Brown

Amari Cooper

Martellus Bennett

Devonta Freeman

Panthers D

Hauschka

John Brown

Garcon

Stafford

Deangelo Williams (terrible autopick but i went to the bodega)

Malcom Floyd

etc....

Not loving it but we'll see what happens

I have Eifert and Gates currently as my TE's.

Should I get Ertz?
Ertz is better in fantasy than both. I'd drop Gates for Ertz.

matt ryan or tony romo?!
Very close and most analysts have Ice just over Romo. But based on ADP and value, you can normally get Romo slightly later (a round difference). Romo's my pick because of TD% and YPA.

QB(s)- Stafford and Bridgewater
WR(s)- Antonio Brown, Hilton, Larry Fitz, Malcom Floyd, Nate Washington, Stedman Bailey, Breshard Perriman
RB(s)- Ingram, Ivory, Sankey, Sims
TE(s)- Jordan Cameron, Richard Rogers
K- Dan Bailey
DEF- Panthers
I would package Fitz and Ivory to upgrade a better RB complement to Ingram.

Rodgers is one of my deeper TE sleepers but I wouldn't roster him. Rather add another bench RB, be it Hillman or Matt Jones.

Here's where we stand (12 man standard):
John Brown
Besides Ben, this is the best pick you've made. John Brown is Palmer's favorite target. Floyd is recovering from injury and Fitz is regressing, good as his hands are. Brown will challenge to be a borderline WR2, but certain stud Flex.

What's on the wire?

WR's like Britt, Latimer, Jennings, Welker, Hurns and Riley Cooper
RB's like Knile Davis, Matt Jones, Roy Helu, Monte Ball
TE's like Dwayne Allen, Josh Hill, Heath Miller

Wish there was a way to get a full linkable list.
