OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

So there's a report that says there's discussion and a report that says there isn't

 OK

There's not a WR on the Seahawks roster that can hold a candle to Lockett, and even though Russell doesn't throw the ball a ton when he does he's going to be looking for Lockett early and often. They already look to have a good chemistry. Last year Doug Baldwin was a solid flex play and he's nowhere near the player Lockett is.
And Baldwin is still there. If Lockett is there at the end, sure not a bad pick. I guess I just wouldn't touch him as in top 4 WR's
what happened with Paul richardson?

i hear so many good things about him last year..

Drop Perriman in favor of (Seattle's) Lockett?

Asked last night but this thread moves so fast.. Ravens fans/anyone who might know- what's the realistic timetable for Perriman's return?

Lockettes ceiling is capped by Seahawks scheme

Perriman if healthy could potentially be a target hog playing with aging Steve smith an almost nobody else.

I'd keep perriman but that's just me

I'm skeptical about any Seahawks WR.  We don't throw the ball that much.  The passing offense is all about efficiency and while there are big plays RW spreads the ball around.

Need some help regarding expanding a keeper league. I am adding 4 new teams to my league, and each team gets to keep 1 player and they don't lose draft picks. How would you guys handle the 4 new teams regarding keeping a player? Should they be able to pick from the leftover players then moved to the back of the draft or should they get the first 4 picks in the draft instead? Thanks in advance

Imo they should get to choose any player that's eligible to be kept but isn't being kept by an existing team already.

The way we did it this year was we made a pool of all the players from the three rosters that were getting new owners this year and had them draft their keepers from that before the draft. Put their names in a hat to decide the draft order.

Got #4 pick. Real life draft definitely played out much differently than the mocks, I feel like I reached on taking Adams 4th round

although my options were L. Murray, Edelman or Brandon Marshall

12 teams, I'm not all that thrilled about my roster

good news is in my honest opinion not any team has a distinct advantage. Everyone's bench is garbage

now I feel like I was being critical of some of the rosters that have been posted

Should I drop McFadden for Knile Davis? Note that I can only roster 4 RB's total

QB Matt Ryan, Atl
RB Jamaal Charles, KC
RB Lamar Miller, Mia
WR Jordan Matthews, Phi
WR Davante Adams, GB
TE Martellus Bennett, Chi
FLEX Golden Tate, Det

D/ST Miami Dolphins
K Matt Bryant, Atl

BN John Brown

BN Matt Jones

BN Matt Stafford

BN Richard Rodgers

BN Eddie Royal

BN Darren McFadden

Pretty solid. Bench has some variables who can go either way like a Royal but solid nonetheless. Adams has that inflated adp. Think he went either fourth or two picks into the fifth round in my draft. Lot of mocks had him going fourth or fifth round. It is what it is.

I had a choice to make with either Jordan Matthews or Brandin Cooks. I was so torn.. I'm in standard scoring.. was literally a flip of the coin

So ball should be scooped up if he's in the Cowboys?
A trade to Dallas would certainly boost Montee Ball's fantasy value, but if he can't beat out C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman for reps and his roster spot with Denver was/is in jeopardy, the outlook remains bleak even behind Dallas' top-notch OL.

I feel like I reached on taking Adams 4th round :smh:  although my options were L. Murray, Edelman or Brandon Marshall

Should I drop McFadden for Knile Davis?
If you were playing PPR, Edelman would be an easy Round 4 choice over Adams. You did go a bit early on Davante, but Jordy's done for the season and Cobb's battling a shoulder sprain. If you're gonna risk, go all-in like you did.

Pretty close between DMC and Davis. I'd lean in McFadden's favor. Randle is the likely starter but hasn't exactly ran away with the starting job. He's never been a feature back in the NFL, and McFadden does possess speed and explosion.

I had a choice to make with either Jordan Matthews or Brandin Cooks.
I would definitely take Cooks over Matthews in PPR formats because he's going to catch over 80+ balls with Jimmy and Stills gone. However, you're playing standard and it's a coin flip between the two, but I'd probably lean Matthews slightly in standard formats. Someone has to take over for Maclin's production and Matthews has done/said all the right things in preseason.

Just picked up Ball and dropped Boobie dixon
That's the right play. Karlos Williams is the backup Buffalo RB to own.

Pick up Brandon Coleman and drop Dan Herron?????
I wouldn't just yet. "Boom" has PPR value as Gore's backup. Coleman's production is sleeper speculation, and I like him a lot.

what happened with Paul richardson?
Bad ACL.

Perriman is the better player to own. He has far more opportunity and is expected to fill the Torrey Smith void.

I actually think Lockett can be Seattle's best receiver, but it could happen next year. His rookie season is capped by the learning curve and Seattle's offensive scheme.

Perriman's sprained PCL is recovering very slowly. It's very likely he misses Week 1 and potentially beyond. Harbaugh won't even provide a timetable.

Which is why I'm hesitant on keeping him but I do know when he is ready he'll be a big part of that offense. Guess I'll hang on for now.

My waivers cleared this morning, I now have Matt Jones and Allen Hurns. My bench still needs help :frown: and I somehow need to find a better option for the Flex.

Philly bound for the weekend, Made in America festival. Enjoy your weekend fellas!

Quick - Geno's or Pats?

It seems like they're just handing the job to Blue but I swear Polk has looked better than him every opportunity he's got.

My final draft...12-team auction, standard league.

QB - Sam Bradford
RB - Joique Bell
WR - Dez Bryant
WR - Julio Jones
TE - Kyle Rudolph
W/T - Andre Johnson
W/R - John Brown
K - Blair Walsh
DEF - Miami

Depth:

QB - Teddy Bridgewater
WR - Brandon Coleman
RB - Danny Woodhead
RB - David Jonson
RB - Matt Jones

There was a point at this draft that I decided to go all out on WR's after RB wasn't working the way I thought. You really only need one RB starter in this league anyway...Having said that, I'm not thrilled about my RB's right now, but my goal is only to survive at that position. I think Joique and even Woodhead can produce and hopefully down the road, Johnson and Jones become factors. My WR's should keep me in it on the weekly, but the great thing about having 4 guys like this is that I have appealing pieces for a potential trade to get an RB down the road.

Only position I'm not really happy about is TE...Kicker too, but you know.

Miami's defense will be huge.

bench has a lot of high risk high upside guys but i love the makeup otherwise. RB could be a little better, but I think you get away with it with those receivers. Really like Andre Johnson this year, more than TY just because of the ADP value.
