OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

tonights my big $ draft and i have the #1 pick.

12 team PPR. 2 WR . flex RB/WR/TE

as ive stated here many of times with #1 pick i will be taking antonio brown. im not gonna get into again why but that would be my pick.

however im strongly considering trading out. i cant see myself with a playoff/championship team drafting from the #1 spot. especially seeing how real drafts have gone.

thoughts?

Trade out. Brown has fell to me at #7 in two of my drafts

Falling to 7 in a ppr?

Trading down to 3-4-5 and grabbing Julio wouldn't be a bad idea imo.

yea i should say this as well, by trading out of 1 i wont be upset by not getting brown.

im not trading out to get better value for brown.

im doing it to get better value in my 2nd and 3rd picks.

because if i take brown 1, by my 2nd and 3rd picks the "best" available would most likely be Mccoy, Jeffrey and Hilton.

who i would not want.

Yeah I thought that's what you were getting at. I 100% agree. I hate picking at the very beginning/end of a draft. Somewhere near the middle is perfect imo. That way you don't have to wait ages to make another pick.

id rather be at the end than the beginning

if i can start my team with a Dez/ ODB or a Demaryious/ Calvin>>>Brown/anyone

No doubt. The talent difference on your second round pick is drastically different with a early pick slot compared to a middle-back end draft slot.

dang.
drafted yeldon as a possible fill in for me while foster was out.  hes the 3rd RB on my team right now
got me thinking if i should go with him or woodhead for week 1. woodhead seems more likely to get in the end zone
i rolled with doug martin his rookie year and it worked wonders

heres my team, 12 team ppr with idp
eli
bell, foster, yeldon, woodhead, matt jones
cobb, sanders, edelman, bryant, quick , montgomery
eifert
jets
folk
posluszny

Yeldon is undoubtedly still the play over Woodhead and a better bet to find the endzone against the Panthers.

The Panthers were middle of the road against the run last year and with Bortles improving and the additional weapons on the offense, the Jaguars should find the endzone at least a couple times in this one.

Woodhead is only SD's passing down back and it'll be Gordon who likely gets the GL carries.

Start Yeldon. It's true that Robinson will likely see 10+ touches in this game, but the Jags will want to get Yeldon rolling.

.5 ppr 6pt TD (passing, receiving, rushing)

Didn't have the draft I wanted. My best friends mom passed and the viewing was the day of the draft scheduled 30 min after it ended. I got in the draft room 30 secs before it started and drafted from my car no cheat sheet or laptop

.  I have to figure out my RB situation and I'm going to try to make a play for another QB using one of my WRs.

Eddie Royal

Dangelo Williams

are available right now.

Drop Ty Montgomery, run, don't walk and pick up Eddie Royal.

Alshon Jeffery looking mighty iffy for week 1. Royal and Cutler have a nice rapport with one another.

Drafting my $$$ 12 team 2QB PPR/Bonus league tonight, will post results afterwards.

yea i drafted eddie royal in like the 9th round.

and that was before Jeffrey was iffy for week 1.

Don't know if it's been posted already but with Freeman still nursing his hammy injury, Coleman is now atop the Falcons depth chart.

worth keeping fleener?

I have witten and gates.. thinking of dropping fleener for 1 of the following (depending how waivers work out): terrance west, tyler lockett, denard robinson or Christine michael

gonna have to start both, with both bell and foster out

woodhead gets his share of goal line packages and not just on passing downs.

Drop for Robinson. Robinson and Yeldon are both listed as the Jags' first-team RB. Likely Yeldon is being eased in and Robinson is getting the opportunity to see if he can continue to flash the talent he did between weeks 7-10 (where he was legitimately posting RB1 numbers during that stretch), could be a timeshare throughout the season unless Yeldon separates himself.

If you own a share in the Cowboys backfield already (Randle or McFadden) then Michael could be worth the cuff, if not you can just keep Michael on the watch list. As feverish as the hype is, he is still a very raw commodity.
