OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

QB scoring in my league -

Passing Yards: 25 yards per point; 3 points at 325 yards; 4 points at 350 yards; 8 points at 400 yards
Passing Touchdowns: 4
Interceptions: -1

One thing I noticed in scoring is no negative points for a missed FGA. Anyone else's league play that? I think the kicker should be penalized.

I played against Big Ben and would have been good if he didn't connect on the last play

He put up 18 but could have put up way more so I'm not that mad

Most definitely we play with negative points for kickers missing field goals. Outside of 50+ yarders though...
-1 for 40-49 ( josh scoobee HA!)
-2 for 30-39
-3 for 20-29
-4 for 0-19

-2 for PAT'S

We give bonuses for kickers who make 40+ or 50+

1 extra pt for 40-49
2 extra for 50+

Um........wut?

Did you watch the whole game or just look at his fantasy points? Dude was throwing darts all damn night. He could have easily had 3+ TD's but they kept getting down to the one or two yard line and trying to run it in. The interception happened when it started reallllly pouring down and he threw it 60 yards down the field to DHB so I'm not sure if the ball slipped or DHB ran the wrong route.

From a fantasy perspective he was disappointing though.

Eh...he still had 20 points for me. I'll take that if that's what he's gonna give me in a "disappointing week"

let us know how your league turns out doe. srs

Prob took Seattles defense with his 2nd pick
Bruh gon finish in the bottom 4
Me finishing in the bottom 4? Ouchhhhh.... Yes I'm the guy that picked the Seahawks with my 2nd pick. Here's my post from earlier in case you missed it.

ok people I'm back. Yes me, the crazy drugged up guy that decided to draft a tight end at #1 overall & followed up by drafting a defense second in my ESPN league. Here's my roster for that league. This is a league of 12.

Cam Newton

Jonathan Stewart

Isaiah Crowell

Mike Evans

Sammy Watkins

Rob Gronk

Torrey Smith

Seahawks defense

Mason Crosby

Teddy Bridgewater

Andre Williams

Ryan Mathews

Brian Quick

Markus Wheaton

Coby Fleener

Defense in the second round is crazy  I get the Gronk thing if you believe that you absolutely had to have him because likely he wouldn't be around for your 2nd round pick. Unorthodox, but I see where you're coming from. But you could have held off on picking that Seattle for several rounds n they still would've been there. That really makes zero sense

Smh I'm trying to show you guys how to survive on these fantasy football streets!!! Give me your hand and I will lead you down the right path to victory!

I'm just confused on why are you using your second round pick on something would've been there several rounds later.

Team is still trash

You can't justify taking a defense in the second round

Might be one of the few people who take an L this week and own Gronk

Because his league is full of good QBs, RBs & WRs that can be picked up towards the middle of the draft process. Can you say the same for the tight end and defensive spots?

There's not a lot of TE's in the league that will have the ball thrown their way like Gronk.

There's not a lot of defenses that will be able to do what the Seahawks do every single week.

For all of yall saying it was a stupid decision or that my team is trash, well we will just have to sit back and see what happens. *cracks knuckles*

I still wouldn't take Gronk in the first unless I had like pick 10

I don't think it's that bad of a pick taking Gronk there tho

I just wouldn't

But the D second round is horrible

nothing really to see. crowell is going to lose his job eventually, watkins has no qb and an injury history, stewart is average. but whatever.

agreed  taking gronk after the 10th pick is fine but the D in the second round is a huge L... a waste of a pick for sure. your team is lukewarm imo

Well Brady over Bradford at this point seems like the right choice!!!!

I had edelman in a PPR league. He did quite nicely. The Opp had brown and Gotskowski so it evened out for him with that last second TD.

I was playing against edelman in a standard scoring 14 tm lg so i didnt take too much of a beating.

at that extra last second garbage time Antonio TD
Yup  .

Man I own Brown in one league and went up against him in another.

That feeling when you're like "alright bruh, ball out but not TOO hard".
I'm in 5 leagues so I'm likely to be rooting for/against every player on every one of my teams :smh:. Just gotta look at it as you want all of your guys to score as much as possible, but preferable the ones you're not facing in another league .

Big Ben looked sharp last night. Could've had much more points but they opted to run the ball inside the 5 two times rather than pass. If he can get me 20 points on an "off" night, I'm cool with that.

in standard scoring, i dont have an issue taking gronk in the 7-10 slot over some of the top tier WR. redzone looks alone means hes scoring at least 1 every game.

in ppr, id probably go WR or RB ( this year) , ive never taken a top TE in any of my leagues, but theres a case to be made to drafting a guaranteed production from that position, especially when at the end of the season only 4-5 are truly stand outs ( production wise)

Up against a guy who has Brown and Gronk on his squad. My lineup is Ryan, Forte, Gordon, OBJ, D. Adams, Wallace, Cameron, Bengals D, and Tucker. Debating on the Gordon start though. Have Mcfadden on the bench who is worth starting at the RB2?

Left D'Angelo on the bench and Leveon (suspension) so now I gotta pray Alfred Morris and Chris Ivory do some damage for me :smh:

Don't know how I got Gronk in the 3rd round in a 10 team league. Buddy before me had back to back picks and took Alshon and Jimmy Graham smh lol.

wow lol bet hes kicking himself

Depends on your timer for drafting. You throw people in your draft queue but as theyre taken your queue gets smaller. I know i ended up with at least 4 picks where i went down the last seconds and just had to hit draft when i was deciding between 2 or 3 guys but they werent in queue so made it harder to compare.
