OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Glad to see you, Champ. Assuming you're busy, so I hope it's a good busy and not a "I'd rather be doing..." busy...
Same here, my friend. I work hard/a lot, but it affords me a travel lifestyle I wouldn't trade for anything. Doing AC and Punta Cana in 2 weeks.

How are things on your end, still doing QB rankings?

Edit: The one caveat with V-Jax is if Evans is a full-go and starts, I'd flip to Brown in the Flex. Floyd will be limited and Fitz is regressing.

QB rankings stopped. Thought about doing it again for tomorrow, but we'll see...I mostly just do it top of the dome and then when I go back I want to tweak, but at that point the haters have already infiltrated.

Allen robinson breakout year????

if you listen to my podcast, you would know that I am fully on the Allen Robinson Kool-Aid train

Hi Champ, how are you? I've missed ya.

How do you feel about the Cowboys RB situation?
What's up, RCK. How was Europe?

There's a common belief that any RB can run behind Dallas' offensive line. How true is that? We'll see this year. Cowboys do have the best OL in the league, with Baltimore close behind.

DMC is not only unreliable and injury prone, but inefficient with his carries the last 3 years in Oakland. Michael is a back that people are willing to be better than he actually is. Dunbar's small and more of a third-down, pass-catching back.

Randle is the best option but I didn't like his ADP. At one point I saw him going in the late-40s. In two years, he had just over 100 carries. Can he be a workhorse with an average, smallish frame? Uncertain his body holds up for 18-20 carries a week.

Feel free to email or text me your personal sports-related opinions anytime. I'm more reachable through those two avenues than NT.

Allen robinson breakout year????
100%. Worst kept secret, he's going to see a lot more TD targets than last year with Orange Julius out and Bortles improving.

Hurns is also a low-key deep WR sleeper. Had a good preseason and think he'll be productive as Jacksonville's #2.

I'm probably gonna be in AC for Halloween. Lemme know if you go that weekend.

should I play (PPR):

John Brown or Davante Adams
Alfred Blue or Danny Woodhead?
Pains me to sit Brown, but Adams as I recommended earlier for another NTer.

Woodhead. I don't like Blue at all, he's inefficient carrying the ball and Woody is a deadly pass-catcher.

yeah i have a good feeling about woodhead too

thinking he's gonna steal tons of carries from gordon

i know it was only preseason but Melvin Gordon looked meh

Woodhead is definitely gonna be on the field for passing downs so his stock is much higher in PPR leagues

Matt Jones, Allen Hurns, or Knile Davis in the flex tomorrow?

Start Teddy or Stafford?

I'm gonna recommend the sneaky play: Allen Hurns. He's the legitimate #2 in J-Ville with Julius out. Him and Robinson should eat with Bortles. Hurns had a great preseason, he looked comfortable clicking with Bortles and downright effective with his targets.

Stafford. Many of us think Bridgewater is primed for a breakout year, but I'm hesitant to trust him immediately in Week 1 even against a depleted SF defense.

Oliver is a flash in the pan

defenses figured him out so quickly last season

nope. He's Sproles 2.0

Gonna break out this year if he gets the touches. Which he probably will, SD offense likes to mix it up and really spread the ball around

nope he got Sproles-like touches last year, and outside of that 1 outliar vs the Jets he avg 3.3 yards a carry

his value, whatever it was, last season was in volume and he did very little with it

My pleasure. If it makes you feel better/more confident, I'm starting Hurns at the Flex in my own league over an iffy Michael Floyd and benched Wheaton.

I'll be watching Matt Jones carefully with you. Own him in numerous leagues and we'll learn a lot about Gruden's split of carries between Morris and Jones.

my mic on my new laptop kinda sucks, so unless I get studio time at UC Davis I'll need to get a new mic

come up with a run down and we can bounce some ideas

Europe was awesome, so 3 Premier League matches and got to see some more of Europe that I haven't seen before. Wasn't blessed with very good weather but whatever, that's Europe for ya

Can't wait to go back again sometime..... perhaps if Spurs turn it around and make a push for a top 4 finish, I may try to make a quick trip over to England and catch the end of the BPL season

I ended up getting Randle at 51 in my 14 team league..... I am sold on the Cowboys O-line argument but how the divvy up the touches is whats giving me a headache

Hoping Melvin Gordon has a big game

Don't like the split projection between him and woodhead
