OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Main reason I was considering Lewis with Blount coming back, is based strictly on thinking he could fill that Vereen role.

But all signs point to Sankey for now. :smh:

The latest.

Bills coach Rex Ryan says he won't be game planning for Patriots RB Dion Lewis in Week 2.
"(I) don't think we're gonna focus on that kid," Ryan said. "I can't even tell you that kid's name. But you're gonna focus on the guy throwing the ball, I'll tell you that much." It's bulletin-board material, but it remains to be seen if the Patriots are going to focus on "that kid." LeGarrette Blount is off suspension, and the Pats aren't going to have an easy time throwing the ball against Ryan's defense. Lewis appears locked into Shane Vereen's old role, but is just a FLEX option for Week 2.

I tend to ignore RW's spin on news blurbs, but I'm inclined to agree that Lewis is more of a FLEX play, IMO of the boom or bust variety.

Against the Bills, I'd probably look for other options.

Excited to see what Tevin Coleman does tonight, it'll be the Julio Jones show but, Coleman could potentially bust out.

With all the injuries going around, the inconsistency, Julio looks poised to be in a tier of his own this year......Okay maybe not a tier of his very own......Not with Antonio Brown around. But they could be 1A and 1B.

 Cruz was right. :smh:

Ellington owner  (auto drafted :rolleyes )

Already picked up Chris Johnson last week (David wasn't available)

Who should I pick up:

Sankey
D. Lewis
Cunnigham

.5 ppr 6pt TD

Already have Woodhead, Vareen

Cunningham has the best schedule the new 2 weeks, but Tre Mason is due back. Im #1 on the waiver.

P.S. - Percy, Moncrief are available but Im set at WR ( D. Thomas, ODBjr, Keenan, Tate, Royal)

TBH none, don't waste you're #1 Waiver claim at this point.

Stafford better stop bugging and throw the ball to Megatron more :smh:

Megatron should see more involvement going forward, but the days of Mega being a volume monster are gone with Tate, Ebron, Abdullah all on the squad.

There's just no reason to throw to Mega in traffic anymore when you've got other guys running wide open. He's going to be a decoy in some situations.

Should still finish a top-12 receiver this year when it's all said and done.

No doubt. I'm not relying on him to carry my team or anything. I drafted him as a WR2 to start alongside Antonio Brown. That being said, I do expect more than 3.9 points from the guy

need Julio & JMatt to ball out :pimp:

what do you guys think of Hyde tonight?

Hyde should be fine, but might have trouble finding daylight behind a banged up 49ers offensive line. Though he should find some success as long as the Vikings don't get ahead too early. If they do I expect Bush to be heavily involved.

Really not very high on Hyde though he had a very solid preseason, truthfully, I just want to see Jerryd Hayne flourish. Sorry .

Should I stick with the jets or try to pick up the Ravens???

Pick up the Ravens, Andrew Luck is going to disembowel the Jets sans Cromartie after he got embarrassed by the Bills this week.

Ravens got a soft matchup against the Raiders that will likely trot out Matt McGloin (or Christian Ponder who they're reportedly reaching out to), they should eat the Raiders food even without T-Sizzle.

Yah no way Dez is out only 4-6 weeks with a Jones fracture.
I was hoping for his sake it was just an avulsion fracture of the 5th metatarsal

The latest.

ESPN Dallas considers November 1 against Seattle to be Dez Bryant's "more likely" return date.
That would be Week 8. It's based on the timeline being given by the Cowboys with regard to Bryant's fractured fifth metatarsal. Terrance Williams is expected to man Bryant's usual X receiver position, with Devin Street handling more snaps at Z and Cole Beasley staying in the slot. The Cowboys are also very likely to use more two-tight end sets, increasing Gavin Escobar's usage.

Dez owner.

other WRs- Maclin, Wallace, Garcon, Quick.

or should i save the waiver spot and possibly go up to 1.

I'd rank 'em

Jones,
Harvin,
Moncrief.

Jones should be a factor all year long in the Packers aerial attack, and a favorite of Rodgers in the RZ.

Rex likes Harvin and Tyrod rapport with Harvin should only grow as the season progresses. With Harvin talent has never been the issue, it's his head-case antics.

Moncrief is a short term rental IMO, Hilton should be back in a week or two, I don't see him worth a flier.

Really, unless you have a pressing need at receiver I'd stand pat until a high-upside RB becomes available, build that waiver priority.

Ya'll should've listened to me about Jones before week 1,.

The Colts are continuing to call T.Y. Hilton "day to day" with a bruised left knee.
Coach Chuck Pagano confirmed Monday that Hilton has "no structural damage," but conceded Hilton has "a little swelling in there." Because the Colts face the Jets on Monday Night Football this week, Hilton has an extra day to get ready. If Hilton can't play, expect Andre Johnson and Donte Moncrief to start in two-receiver sets with Phillip Dorsett in three-wideout packages.

Moncrief is simply not worth burning a waiver on.

if you have a top 3 waiver priority i wouldn't use it on a James Jones or Bishop Sankey unless you have a dire need

wait until an OBJ, Mike Evans, or CJ Anderson come around
