OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

If Dez misses ~8 games, once Williams and Romo get it going, I would honestly NOT be surprised if the guy has his first 1K yard receiving year.

Guy can play, period. He has big play potential, and great after the catch play making ability. I foresee big, big things for T-Will while Dez is out.

Won week 1 handily but I don't trust Rashad Jennings moving forward.

I'm thinking about offering Eric Decker for Frank Gore

standard league, what u guys think?

Highly doubt the Gore owner would budge on that trade.

You'd likely have to pair Jennings + Decker as a starting point for negotiations.

One thing to keep in mind when trading, it's not advisable to send egregiously low-ball offers for guys you think are buy-lows.

They might be buy-lows, they might not be. The owner, not you, decides that. But in order to gauge value, start with an offer that's favors you but is still fair to the other owner.

Else you'll run the risk of alienating a potential trading partner, and that's not the way to do business.

As it stands, Gore was going in the 3rd-4th round in most drafts. And most owners are not willing to give up on a pricy commodity after one bad week.

Also, it's not a bad idea to establish some sort of dialogue between you and a potential trading partner before sending an offer all randomly.

Propose a trade through e-mail, describe why this trade would be favorable to both parties. Provide some context for your offer.

If he doesn't like your initial offer, ask him what he's looking for. Assuage his concerns by saying things "I want to workout a deal that benefits both of us". You know, sell the guy.

You can definitely win trades in deals that still favor both guys. And if your mouthpiece (or in this case, your brain-piece working the keyboard) is slick enough you might be able to pull off a robbery.

But man, be tactful.

Well put, thanks gentlemen

crazy trades is the story of my league though.

Figure i'm gonna hold onto Jennings but after watching Tevin Coleman yesterday I almost wanna give him the start this week.

ASJ has a higher ceiling.
Does ASJ really get targets in that offense like that though? I saw what he did week 1 and was kinda pissed that I picked up Rudolph instead of him. But I'm thinking the offense Rudolph is in will provide him better 1 on 1 matchups.

He was always talented, and a lot of folks predicted he'd breakout this year.

His targets will probably go down once Evans is back, but I still see ASJ finishing as a top-10 TE1 this year.

Going with the Dolphins against the Jaguars..

 I don't think many folks have a shot at snagging the 'Fins unless they drafted 'em.

Snag the Titans as a streamer against the Browns.

Manziel under center, should give up a INT or two.

Saints D/ST vs Buccaneers isn't a shabby option either, Famous Jameis still has a lot of growing pains to overcome.

Anybody think it's ok to snatch up Chris Johnson now that he's the #1 back at Arizona? Plan on dropping Crowell & putting him in that spot. He'll be going against the Bears, 9ers & Rams during that time.
