I should have started just about anybody over Vereen tonight. Not starting a damn soul from that Giants backfield again.

This but I pretty much had no choice. I have Ellington and Lamar banged up and I didn't want to play sproles cause Phillys offense is buns so far.

Starting anyone outside of Beckham Jr on the Giants is risky, very risky.


Freeman was the play out of those names IMO, but after Vereen's line last week I understand why you believed Vereen could deliver in this one.


Coughlin is pretty direct though, if he says they're going to make a concerted effort to get a certain player involved, then that's what they're going to do.


Randle was that guy, I wouldn't have played him this week if that wasn't the case. Just try to follow Giants beat writers, it's not like Coughlin is often cryptic about what he's going to do. He'll telegraph the gameplan and still execute, that's just the type of old school hard-nose coach he is.

You shouldn't be, nothing is going to change.


Morris' contract is up after this year, Gruden hand-picked Jones, he's going nowhere and is going to continue to cut into Morris' carries.


Now Chris Thompson emerged in the receiving game as well. Another RB to worry about.


That said, this is a run-heavy team, and they're going to continue to live and die by the run. There are going to be games where Morris and Jones run all over opposing defenses and there are also going to be games where they're going to get stuffed.

Clearly Gruden wants to mold the team in his image. I really didn't think he had it in him to marginalize Morris to this extent, at least not this early in the season.


IMO Morris is still the best pure runner in this backfield. Jones is a phenomenal talent but he's still not as refined as Morris is, but if Gruden likes Jones more and wants Thompson heavily involved in games where the ******** trail then Morris is going to be nothing more than a low-end RB2 going forward. Maybe less than that.


Gruden and Snyder, g'luck with that 'Skins fans.

Fellas I need a plan B just in case Brees can't go Sunday. Ive got Alex Smith on the bench vs GB, but was considering rolling with one of these guys off free agency

100 yards week one, 2 weeks later hes almost useless... fire gruden

Alfred morris was one of the best backs in the whole league. Matt jones is explosive though so lets ruin all continuity. He wasnt a superstar in college but hes gunna wreck the NFL smfh

Am I right going with Allen Robinson at Jax and Stevie Johnson vs Minnesota?

Was really not happy with the fumble in the end zone but if MJ scores that TD everyone looks like a genius that started him.

Gruden really took what worked last week dumped it in the trash and said here Cousins let the giants win this game throw it.

Go with Foles. That's a terrible secondary he's going up against and at least he'll take shots downfield.

I think so. Robinson should have a good game with Bortles having to throw a ton to keep up. Rivers might not have to throw as much but a road dog coming east-ish should have to throw a bit as well.

All 3 are decent 2nd tier bets TBH. If Decker somehow plays, Fitz might be first there. I think Foles is the play though.
