OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Regret not playing jones the first 3 weeks

Doug Martin is officially benched

As long as D. Thomas, Evans and James jones produce I should be fine with my lack luster RB

JEREMY JILL IS A BUM. I will bench his *** too if he doesn't do anything tomorrow

ESPN New York reports the Jets are concerned whether Chris Ivory (quad) will be able to play the entire game Sunday.

Advice: Ivory is listed as probable, but the Jets don't think he's fully over his quad issue. Ivory didn’t see the field despite being active last week and could lose more work than expected to Bilal Powell. Ivory is more of a lower-end RB2/FLEX for Week 4.

I don't think Bowles is gonna play him much; not enough for a start in fantasy.

Matt Jones it is in at RB2.

Got offered Ingram and Jarvis Landry for my Cooks and McCoy. Am I crazy for possibly accepting this? 0.5 PPR

It's a keeper league though and if I traded McCoy then I would be banking on Gurley or Ingram being my keeper next year along with Julio since we can't keep two of the same position.

Someone dropped Sammy Watkins, worth a 3rd position wavier claim?

My WRs:

Calvin Johnson
TY Hilton
John Brown
Davante Adams
Victor Cruz
Stevie Johnson

pull the trigger on that

Landry > Cooks & Ingram >> McCoy

I traded

Mike Evans, Mark Ingram and Karlos Williams

for

Demaryius Thomas , Lamar Miller and TJ Yeldon

Thoughts?

looks like I'm still receiving flak for my brown  trade, even gone as far as taking it personal calling me worse than goodell and more

how long does it take for veto on yahoo to go through? if it does get vetoed it does it  make you wait the 2 days?

DT is a tier above Evans in the WR class. Miller and Ingram were close preseason but most would prefer Ingram. He's got a rush TD in two of the first 3 games. Bonus 16 receptions, when he had 29 all last year. You'd think Payton is more inclined to run the ball given an injured Brees. Williams looked good against Miami and Shady is just not healthy, but Yeldon is the better RB to own for duration of the season. He's a better and more reliable pass-catcher. The DT/Miller/Yeldon side wins.

the eagles bias within me is choosing to sit Matt Jones.
I mean, we've (Philly) been stingy against the run. Jones has ball security issues which could prompt Gruden to lessen his carries. Jones has done close to nothing outside of the Rams upset.

Got MNF tix for my bro's birthday vs. NYG.

With luck being questionable and him being hurt in scared to play ty hilton. Should i expect more targets to james jones or cobb this week?
I would still start Hilton over Jones, whether Luck plays or not.

Jones has not come close to out-targeting Cobb through 3 weeks. Cobb has nearly doubled the targets output, 28 to 15. Cobb has seen double-digit targets in consecutive weeks too.

Would you guys consider playing both James Jones & Cobb at the same damn time? Standard scoring.

Other option to consider is Allen Robinson
This is the week to do it. Cobb is a must-smart player obviously. Jones over Robinson? Many would recommend it Week 4, but I have an affinity towards A-Rob, and it paid off Week 2. He's seen a healthy 21 targets the last two weeks. Cobb and A-Rob go for me, despite conventional wisdom.

Should I drop Maclin for Kendall Wright? Someone dropped him this week cause of bye
I wouldn't. Alex Smith is Alex Smith, but Maclin's seeing a decent 9 targets per week. Wright has PPR value and two TD through the first 3 games, but how much can you really trust a rookie QB in Mariota?

Should I trust this? Cutler or not .. should I?
Martellus is a must-start TE for me this week, even though Eifert is not far behind. I'm seeing at least 6/65/TD vs. Raiders.

Brees playing injured doesn't help Cooks' season-long stock, and Brandin is off to a slow start. Actually had his best game with McCown under center. Landry gets double-digit targets literally every week, it's guaranteed with Tanny. But his yardage and TD output is minimal. Cooks is far more a downfield, big-play threat. Your value could be in acquiring Ingram, who is adding pass-catching surprisingly through 3 games (16 receptions). Shady is not healthy and we don't really know how much the Bills rushing him back Week 1 has hurt him physically long term.

On paper, you lose the trade. Shady was a RB1 preseason, and largely a top-10 pick. Ingram is a top-notch RB2, back-end RB1 if you push it. Cooks is supposed to emerge into the WR1 tier, while Landry's ceiling is top-end WR2 because of low yardage and TD totals. Shady's stock cannot go any lower this season. It's a matter of how much patience and risk-taking ability you have in you as an owner.

My WRs:

Calvin Johnson
TY Hilton
John Brown
Davante Adams
Victor Cruz
Stevie Johnson
I would add Sammy and drop Cruz. Vic just experienced a calf setback. Stevie is quickly developing chemistry with Rivers, exhibited by two TD through the first 3 games.

Drop Ronnie Hillman for Christine Michael?
I wouldn't. My feeling is Hillman can take a large chunk of reps from C.J. at any point, his only downside is poor pass protection. Michael is a player people want to be better than he is. I've seen nothing at A&M or Seattle that truly wows me. Randle just had 3 TD against the Falcons, and has been fairly efficient with his carries averaging 4.2 YPC. Also getting 16 carries per week steadily.

cj spiller and eric decker are both available in my league , are they worth picking up?
Deck before Spiller, but both should be owned. Prior to the knee injury, Decker was looking like a back-end WR2. Spiller is going to catch a lot of passes in New Orleans' backfield. His production and reps should increase weekly as he gets healthier and healthier.

Drop David Johnson for Christine Michael?
No, I wouldn't. Johnson has value with big-play ability and pass-catching ability.

Brees or rivers?
Rawls or marvin jones?
Rivers.

Marvin Jones.

Chris Givens worth a grab?
Depends who you're dropping. He has speed and opportunity in Baltimore, but he's only caught 45 passes the last two years in STL, to go with a single TD in 30 games.

FYI: Brian Quick is going to be activated for tomorrow. Not a most desirable matchup against Arizona, but someone to probably grab for the future, and before anyone else catches wind.
Quick has sneaky mid-season value. Somewhat of a downfield threat.

Would you guys drop Andre Johnson for DeVante Parker?
No, I wouldn't drop Dre even though most have given up on him but I would roster Parker for mid-season value. Can you drop another player?

Kaep or Derek Carr?
Carr.

This is where Im at for this week, I need RB2 & Flex .. help? :frown: standard scoring

Rawls vs DET
Morris vs PHI
Tate vs SEA
Ginn vs TB

Current Lineup
Dalton
Murray
R. Matthews
M. Jones
Crosby
Jets

Bennett or Eifert?
Morris as RB2 and Tate in Flex, out of those 4 listed options.

Martellus over Eifert.

Thinking bout dropping Doug Martin for Brian Quick to stash in case he has value this week
No, keep Muscle Hamster. Drop someone else to add Quick. He's going to start finding the end zone.
