Official Apple Music Thread Vol. Spotify Is Dead Post Your Playlist

Side note: Does anyone have any advice on how to add music to your iPhone now, specifically for mix tapes, I keep getting this error saying "Files were not copied because iCloud music library is enable on this phone." I have went into my phone's settings and turned off and on the iCloud music, still no success.

I was able to add an album and make it "Offline," for it to be on my phone, but I still can't add other songs or albums. Plz help.

if you have the cloud service on...add the music to your itunes on your computer, assuming its the most updated one that contains apple music...once you add it to your library, its on your phone under "my music" i hope this helps.

apple music is cool so far...i wish its smarter on matching what i already have in my library though....

and also turn off the option of adding duplicates by accident. example..

i had an mp3 version of the new meek mill album in my itunes before i switched to apple music, i accidentally added the apple music version to my library..and when i tried to take it away, it took away BOTH my mp3 "unprotected version" and the apple music version from all my computers LOL...now i only have the DRM protected version smh

i have spotify cuz it came out first...for the most part it has everything i need...

i have the free trial so 3 months is plenty of time for it to grow on me

Like always, against better judgement I updated, and now all my playlists are gone on my phone and I can't figure out how to import them back over from iTunes. Fricken apple.

Over half my album artwork is gone too... Thanks apple.

How is one of the best albums of all time, Reasonable Doubt, not on there!? Literally everything else involving this man is on there, yet the one that started it all isn't?

I believe Jay pulled reasonable doubt off of other services and made it exclusive to tidal. Alot of music I had in playlist going back to mog (the company beats bought a couple of years ago before apple bought beats) didn't make it and isn't available in other services so the licenses for the most part expired. Theres going to be alot of exclusive first stuff amongst the competing services until they are for sale digitally.

"Beats 1" is a streaming service as well?

Beats 1 is the radio portion and from what I learned will still be free even after the 3 month subscription is up

I keep hearing that when you enable iCloud music it screws up the iTunes library. Has it been updated yet to fix this issue?

I've found that some of the songs in my playlist had to be formatted to AAC then added back to my playlist to make the cut. PITA, but thankfully my personal playlist was pretty simple.

Two of my brothers are apple users, Im an Android user... Can I still be put on the plan?

I subscribe to Spotify and I feel like the Beats1 shows make it that much more worth it.
