If I see another mother frencher on a hoverboard

what i don't get is, if io hawk was the first with the technology, did they not get a patent on it or something, why are there soooo many new [& cheaper] companies copying it..i mean you never saw a bootleg version of a segway for a reason ..so why didn't or couldn't they do the same with these things?

i dont think IO was the first.

honestly, most of these are imported from china and rebranded. they're all the same.

i would use this around my block but not in public... im not going to lie i want one but summer is winding down in NJ so seems kinda pointless now... plus i dont feel like spending 3-400 on one... hopefully the price goes down next summer
 
If this joint dropped around March n was 400 bucks I'd have one

everyone cares...i got one and trust every girl, guy, kid, mom, dad, toddler, grandfather, grandmother, EVERYONE stops you to talk to you about it...


the opportunity for yambs are endless with this thing...great ice breaker...and it is fun as hell...


few flaws:
-its really dangerous if you don't know what the hell you are doing
-it doesn't have the ability to go over any significant bump (which is basically almost every street or sidewalk you ride it on)

these two things in the end make it a toy rather than something functional

That could've ended very badly for Usain Bolt and the country of Jamaica would've been livid. Just Gatlin might've rejoiced though...
 
I almost hit this guy on one yesterday while I was turning onto my block. He was in the middle of the street riding it
