MTV Documentary "White People" 7/22 Vol. Insert "and here we go" GIF

I'm white and I don't see why all these stupid white people in the comments are getting offended.

I think it's an interesting idea for a documentary. Will definitely watch.

its too shift blame and keep them from feeling "white guilt". Its funny how some try to purposely misinterpret the message as if its an attack on whites and "white heritage"

I don't really get the idea of white guilt. I live in Belgium, a very small nation but responsible for a large amount of slavery and crimes against humanity.

I'm 21 though, am I supposed to feel guilty for what my ancestors did when I wasn't even born yet and absolutely don't condone in any way?

What I do agree with is some form of reparations.

Took a quick gander at the comments. Comedy. 16,000 down votes lol. I stopped reading when I saw that someone typed there is no such thing as white privilege. Ignorance is truly bliss.

Thats the thing. They want you to think "white guilt" is what the liberal agenda is. But its not. What sensible person would place the blame of what happened during slavery on the people of today? the goal is to get people to realize and acknowledge that although slavery is over the ripples of slavery through time still effect everyone today. Some people are benefiting and others are being hindered by it. Whether or not you are benefiting or not is widely dependent on race. 
 
This doc will most likely only air one time. Better record it. No way white people will accept this lol
 
This is actually what a lot of my former professors were calling for. It could actually be provocative however imo it's a waste of time. I think their hate for POC is innate. No documentary or open forum is gonna change that. Just look at the comments, rustlemania up in there bc they're never wrong.

I'm far from mad. I already know some white ppl say/ think stupid, borderline racist **** cuz they're sheltered. I find pleasure in the fact somebody is calling them out on their B.S.

What is black twitter mad for? I don't see how this was made to make black folks mad. Hearing the opinions of ppl I already know harbor evil for us is supposed to rustle me? MTV gotta try harder then. Every Africana studies professor I've had has called for something similar to this. What is there to be mad about?
