God's, this situation got me all types of trippin.

Cliffs:
- met a girl 2 months ago. Been casually dating her. I was dating another girl at the time and never really thought much of her until recently because I cut the other girl out
- cool, down-to-earth chick. Vibe really well with her. Has great value's....except she drops this bombshell on me...


SHE WANTS TO BE CELIBATE. :x

She's 29, I'm 30.

I mean I was casually dating her and just recently we tried to move towards something more serious and i've been flirting with her with sexual talk here and there and she dropped the celibacy line on me tonight.

She basically told me that she's only been in 2 relationships in her life, each of which lasted 3+ years. I asked her why she wants to be celibate and she told me that she always kinda felt like this and because she did have sex in her previous relationships and those didn't work out so to know if a guy really likes her now, he'll wait.

For a lack for better words I told her I respect her for her decision but I don't agree with it because TO ME sex is an important factor when looking at budding relationship from a holistic standpoint....I think it's a valid point. I told her that she shouldn't think i'm into her just for sex but it's a combination of things. She asked me where we stand and I told her idk....

Now before we start all this Tyrone talk, I do think she's digging me. Girl goes above and beyond what some chickenheads would do for theirs. She bakes me cakes, pays for ****, initiates mostly all the convo's, laughs at my stupid jokes even when I think their corny, etc.

Really nice girl but man, I can't get over this celibacy thing. It's like the one thing stopping her from being a good prospect for me....

She sounded so sad when I told her i'm not bout that celibate life.

I told her I would still meetup with her tomorrow to chill....

What would ya'll think of something like this?

Been dating for two months? How long ago was her most recent break up? I bet $20 she's still smashing the ex. A girl will flat out say she wants to be celibate with you while still getting those pipe sessions from an ex that she's not quite ready to give up on.

If you don't want to wait around until she's ready, don't. No reason to think about it any more than that. She's known for a while now whether or not you were going to get the P. Unfortunately, you drew the Nice-Guy-Who-Will-Wait straw in her courting game.
