Magic City Strip Club Mini-Documentary by Lauren Greenfield

This documentary shows exactly what misguided black folks glorify....:smh:
It honestly made me cringe when the stripper chick was talking about she made it and living a dream surrounded by pretty women and money.
These are the women who create black men....

Its crazy how stuff starts to look so primitive and stupid the older you get.
Long weave, tattooed covered injected butt, social media, twerk obsessed shallow black women and the men who throw thousands of dollars at them every weekend  24/7 365.

Why do we glorify this stuff?

SOOOO much realness bro
REPPED!!

:smh: :smh: :smh:......this can't be life for some people  but sadly it is. Slave for two weeks just to cash some donkey *** ho out nahhh fam I'm 23 here and wise as ****

will never change man... i love hip hop... but i cant deny it has had a negative influence.

strippers existed before hip-hop for sure.... but this lil doc highlighted so many flaws with our culture.

cant beleive them thots had the nerve to talk about money wit snaggle tooth busted grills

This is why we need fathers in our daughters lives. These girls mentalites are so warped and damaged. I'm not gonna lie, I planned on going the other night since my boy got married today but didn't make it.

I haven't been since February and I love seeing fine women flaunt their beauty, but at this point in my life, I'm only going of I've got something lined up to smash afterwards.

It's fun seeing the girls do their thing, especially if they're enjoying it, but after a while it just becomes frustrating because I'll be ready to bend their fine self over, and both me and my Wells Fargo account knows that's not gonna happen. No point in paying to get frustrated. I went to a few in San Antonio and they were laughable. Some of the girls were decent but they can't even get fully nude. Coming from Houston, that's a big disappointment.

There was such a strange juxtaposition between what Lil Magic & Future was saying & what the strippers were saying, Future used Magic City because he had a talent, so he used it as a stepping stone towards something greater, he funded his dreams with it, Lil Magic realizes that the money isn't long term & that we're slaves to our own culture, but he's making more money than probably most of the strippers [I would imagine that he's Magic the owner's son] & they know how a business works. The other rappers realize that their music playing at Magic City will get them catapulted into a hopefully successful career also. In the middle you have the strippers, who are worried about right now & really don't seem to have many other qualities outside of shaking their butts to music & sliding up & down the pole, a lot of the ladies aren't using the money to do anything productive with, nor are they funding their dreams. At least that's how it seems from the outside in, the one young lady mentioned college, but nobody else said anything else about any future plans. The trap is a trap, at the end of the day, & a lot of the times what makes it a trap is the money, it's no different than a dope boy going legit & getting a regular job, it's cool for a minute to do a little something on the side, but the trap is when you don't have any future plans for the money you're making, or funding your dreams & future endeavors. Even DJ Esco funded his Magic City career into something greater, he became Future's tour DJ, funny to see J.Nicks [Stuey Rock] there tho, I remember when he was on local radio here in STL.

this is the product of the system....never ending cycle but at least our current generation is looking better (believe it or not)....as far as conscious brothers

The post segregation black folks failed us (born 1950s-70s) ....mid 80s-90s gonna fix some of the damage and hopefully our kids will finish it

that video was a let down exactly why i don't go to strip clubs just a lot of stunting and faking it till you make it. I'm 25 and been to the strip club maybe twice and in those 2 times i probably spent $50 and that was entrance and drinks I don't believe in strip clubs throwing all that hard earned money on a female because she looks like a blow up doll..

Even if i was rich and could afford to throw 10k on a female i still wouldn't because that aint how i would want my daughter to make 10k better get yo behind a job.

I went to Magic City late last year and was not impressed.

No different than any other strip club. I was expecting top tier quality and it was just ok.

Now KOD about 6-7 years ago was killing the game, Club Rolexx in the late 90's early 2000's as well.

I've had my days of wasting my dollars left and right at the clubs. Very fun and regrettable at the same time. This doc didn't shed a light on anything new, so it was pretty much another waste, but of my time. Besides, from the looks of things, i've brushed singles & cheeks with dancers alot better than the yuckmouths highlighted in this documentary.

Yeah magic city is wild. Between parking and the entry fee you'll pay about $60 before you even see some ***. You go in there and start questioning your judgement skills. I mean it's the poster child for strip clubs especially in Atlanta but you see a lot of stupidity in there. Was there one night and Jeezy and some homies had at least 50 grand in ones...in a trash bag. Just throwing stacks at ******* heads :smh: it's all in the name of a good time but then you think about how our community struggles and how many poor neighborhoods are around the Westside of ATL and the people that can really make a difference in our community are throwin that bread on a chick who's sliding down a pole upside down....

Who the hell goes to the strip club to see some dudes rap? The ****?

Haven't watched this yet...but nowadays cats don't even go to the strip club for the strippers these days.

Cats go to holla at the ******* who keep they clothes on, the music and the food. Swear it's some 5 star chefs that be cooking in some of these joints.
