OP,

you're the guy with all the potential and absolutely no ambition. I don't expect you to do things for yourself so even less so your family.  You're a 26 year old man content with not even having your own space. You said your girlfriend is older than you by 3 years. She's 29 , making you 26. 3 years is not that much of a difference at all. Being a man anyway gives you an edge anyway in a corporate position but do you see the difference between you two? You also said that you've been with your girl 5 years and know she wants to get serious. 5 years and you're not serious or sure you love her? Don't get married.

I agree with one of the above posters. I don't know if you're depressed or something but get out of it.

i have full custody of my 4 year old daughter  , shes at work with me today until midnight in the office . my daughter has "manned up" to real life more than OP tbh. op you a bum bro no way around it. in the 305 they'd call you a jit or just a ****boy .  either way , to answer your question , i was a "street cat" and didnt even have time to find NT until after my daughter was born (oct 2011 shes almost 4 now) and i had more down-time instead of being a "street cat" . so people can change , im still not even content everyday i ask myself if i do enough as a parent , i question my check every week , if im working enough or should i be going to school etc......wake up dude and live life like a man .

Ive never understood people like this. They have all the tools to succeed, but instead choose to a life of mediocrity by purposely hanging around losers doing loser things.

It doesn't matter that a child has been conceived, or if a good woman has given you five of the best years of her life, or that the University has pured knowledge into you for years...you dont care about them. Its all about what you want to do. Just prop up in your parents' home and be a parasite on all that they have worked for while your girlfriend and her family carry the burden of raising your child.

Your not a man, you're a boy. Its time to grow up son.

Had every opportunity to take the initiative to place themselves into fortunate positions in life...

Consciously chose not to do anything with those opportunities.

It's why I cannot feel sympathy. It's like some people just want to struggle.

Priorities. It shouldn't be hard to determine which is most important, and which to let go.
