I get what you're saying but in the same token, i don't necessarily think its anyones place to tell them what to do with the money because although it is "tax payer funded" America was built on the backs of slaves so they have got a claim to that money already.

i think that a lot of the problems in the african american community stem from not being on equal ground with the white majority. these "requirements" like not having an education or having a criminal records are issues that are present in a large majority of black communities BECAUSE of being deprived of reparations and a chance to gain any kind of equal footing from way back in the 1860s. I whole heartedly believe that if money, land, and the same quality education was offered to blacks when they became free education and whether or not they have been to prison wouldnt be questions we would be asking.

You literally listed a much of people which either got a) reparations b) Came willingly to work c) were allowed to participate white supremacy when it came time to turn on black folk during the Civil Rights movement
Former slaves didn't get to build wealth and the tickled down to generation after generation and the following generation had their own battles to fight
Plus there are still people alive that lived under Jim Crow and tons that are still effected by Reagan era White supremacy policies.
And of course the Obama red herring. Even if dude wanted too the ******* GOP and Blue Dogs would have blocked it. In addition Obama been wanting to pass criminal justice reform from the jump and he right still play the Reagan "predator in waiting" BS card to scare the hell outta folk.
Reparations aside, this country got TONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of ways it could help black folk. Ones who were ancestors to slaves, ones that suffered under Jim Crow, ones that have suffered under the BS war on drugs, and yet people like you always come with a deflection.
