Dre said he didn't drop Detox because it wasn't good. I gotta thank him for that.

If he waited all this time to drop new music after keeping us waiting for so long, I gotta believe he put his all into it and made sure it's quality.

I hope he put his all into it as well, wish I would've seen MC Ren featured on there somewhere.
 
Does this go towards Kendrick's album clause because we all know Dre didn't write anything on this album as was the case on his previous projects.

I'm excited for this album.  Solid line up.  Was hoping for an NWA line up to close it out but I'm assuming Ren is still salty.
 
Crazy how he's working with all his past artist (Em, Game, Cube, Snopp, Kendrick, Xzibit etc.......) no love for 50. Guess nobody really mess with dude anymore huh?

what's the point? he's no longer on Aftermath, he wanted to do his own thing. he also didn't leave that label on a good note, making his own headphones, and not squashing the beef with 50.
 
Pretty sure it's an Apple exclusive. This is the start, certain streams will get albums from now on.


50 and Dre ain't been cool for years. Not real beef but they don't mess with each other. I'm hyped to hear the album though. It's too late but I need some new music.
 
I just checked for this Anderson Paak guy.... I don't really check for new music these days but damn, how come I haven't been force fed this guy's music? Really talented dude.

On another note, how is Dre 'inspired' by the film that's based around true events from his OWN life?
 
Like how the tracklist looks. Feel like I'm obligated to buy even though I having been feeling Dre's bears for awhile :lol:

I just hope he raps like OLD Dre

I dont like when new artist write for him because he tends to sound like them when in the past he had his own unique rap sound

we need the DOC to pen his raps this go around
 
I like when Em writes for Dre. He puts that Eminem flow but dials it back a bit to fit Dre's style..

yeah Ross wrote numerous verses for Dre

and almost every song he is on with Em n Kendrick was written by them too

but like TiDE said Em knows how to write for Dre and sound like Dre same with the DOC Cube and JayZ

all the songs they pen for Dre sound like Dre

but the songs Kendrick Ross T.I. Wayne and so on write dont sound like Dre
