So now we're defining what the "hood" really is?

My parents did coke in front of me and my dad was cookin up the rock in the kitchen.

Family was always partying, drinking and gettin' down.

All my cousins gang banged and suwooped, that's why when my mom got clean she moved us up outta there, dad was in jail at the time and she peaced out.

Why can't I say I lived in the hood and more importantly why are you in charge of telling people if they are or not?
