Question about tinting my ride

Get 30% all around, nothing on windshield. That'll be just enough for you
 
Would love to tint but I'm not rich enough or clean cut enough to deal with more pulling over :lol:
 
have an appt tomorrow at a tint shop in san jose, bought a groupon deal for the rear 5 windows for $130 bux. gonna find out how much extra to get the front 2 windows as well, 35% all around, car is black on black
 
I live in MD and I've had 30% tints for 5+ years now and only been pulled over once for them.(Unfortunately I was dirty so...)

With the 30% and black interior you cant even really see in my car

My boy even had 20% on all windows and was never pulled over
 
MD cops don't care about tint.

Don't tint the windshield. You'll get pulled over for that.

You should be fine with 20% all around. If you want to play it safe, do 35% do up front and 20% everywhere else.
 
I have 5% on my back windshield and windows. 10% on my front Windows.. A strip across the windshield that's 5%... I live in Fl and tint is a must have yr round. It took a few days to get use to especially at night
 
I got 25% in MD and police never notice the tints if pull me over or when they are around my car ....in the day time you can see in the whip if you are under sunlight /lights inside a garage, but it's blacked out at night time

And yes tints def keeps your car cooler compared to not having em :pimp: ...for my next car I'm thinkin bout going darker wit the tint, can anybody give me some insight on the driving experience / vision with anything under 20 % ?
 
Get the 25% if you don't want people to see inside, go 50% on the windshield

I have 35 all around and double 50 on the windshield in NY and I haven't been pulled over for my tints.

How was night driving for you? That is one of my biggest concerns about getting tint. Unfortunately there is no way to trial test it.

In MD you get an inspection when buying a used car only once. Once you bought it you are done with inspections. Other states do them yearly or every two years.

Where do you plan on getting it done? I'm thinking about doing my next month, and I've been spending the last few days researching tint shops out here. So far I only have Winners Tint in Rockville, and Tint World on North Point as options now.

I would also like to know how it at night. Lane changing, parking etc. I don't want to have to lower my windows to see while performing basic driving maneuvers.
 
I had 5 all around in VA years ago. It's mad dark. I had no problems seeing out of it. Some people need time to adjust and some don't like it all. 20% isn't much lighter, you still can't see inside.

spiceman80 spiceman80 if you go with 20 which is plenty dark enough you can still see well enough to maneuver fine. It'll take maybe one night to get used to it but it's nothing to bad

Although I wouldnt recommend the darker tints if your in the typical hood car like a crown Vic or imp ...they lookin for any reason to pull you over in that

I was thinking about do 30% all around. I drive 'Solara black so that should be good enough.
