Start up ya own church. Cut out the middle man. Sell the word of God to the public for half the price. The church you rocking with now is selling the watered down word and they charging double the price. Ask God for the word directly. That's free. It's free to talk to God, baby pa. Get the word from him, bring that back to ya church, cut it up and push it to the public for free, but just ask for donations. You gonna be making profit regardless and you gonna be pushing that pure word straight from the source. Everything I'm saying is facts, B

-Call your local Mosque, Jewish Temple, Catholic Church , Buddhist Temple, and Orthodox church. Find out how much if any they ask for a month. One of gotta be lower
-Send a letter to your church by certified mail saying you got a better offer from a different religion, and you are considering converting
-Ask for a reduction of your rates.
-Profit

Sure. Money is for Church maintenance first, then pastors.
Any excess should be allocated to families in need/ crisis.
Pastors should not be absorbing the excess for themselves.

The hell you don't, you have to pay Zakat if you're an able-bodied, employed man who makes at least $1150 a year (3 ounces of gold worth according to nisab).
And it's supposed to be 2.5% of your annual income.
That doesn't even include the food you're supposed to donate at Sadaqa Al-Fitr.
Problem with a lot of you religious types, you don't even know your own faith.

How much should Pastors be paid? For ex... Joel Osteen, probably has the largest congregation in the world. What do you think his salary should be? BTW... I believe he's worth $100 m or more.
Also, a lot of these pastors are making their money from media, books, appearances, etc...

And to expand on that point, Imams are not without fault. Like Pastors many have also been guilty of stealing money from their people.
They're not as flagrant as these Clefro Dollar Mason Betha types. Obviously these dudes are just corrupt.
No religious person should be pushing a luxury anything or living in a mansion that is paid for by their flock. If they're successful businessmen otherwise, from like a 2nd job or something, fine.

Congregation size should not matter. His family size is what does.
He should make enough for his family to be comfortable
and be meeting the living wage for his community.
Its ok if he has another job, and or is reaping the benefits from his notoriety.
