Car accident question

Did you fill out a police report ?
Yes it was a huge accident in the middle of a state highway through the desert

You better stick with whatever you put down in the police report
That story is now fact from here on out

Its possible that the False Report is only a misdemeanor, but its not worth it to find out.
The only scenario in which it would be worth taking a potential perjury charge is if there are any pending criminal/civil charges from the accident itself, such as Vehicle Manslaughter, Negligence etc. and you're being blamed for those as the "driver at fault"

If your only liability as the "driver" is for a raise in your premiums, then eat that cost and be happy.

False Report and Insurance Fraud is a no bueno

makes sense that somebody with a rolex and gold chains as his avy wouldn't know a single thing about handling a situation where he stands to lose so much....

fatherfigures are important as **** my *****....

don't let your offspring end up doing dumb **** an have to ask strangers on the internet for guidance...

Not a lawyer or anything but....

I'm pretty sure insurance fraud is a big deal.

Your best bet is to have fam cut you a check NOW, and run wit whatever story ya gave the cops.

OP....YOU GOT ZOED

don't ever take the blame for nothing, papa. Was the "driver" in the passanger seat? Was there another party involved in the accident?? You better pray and hope that the "driver" and other party didn't sustain any "injuries". Because that's a liability claim against your ***.

Next time, tell the truth. I don't care how close I am with you, or how good your box/mouth is, I ain't taking the blame for nothing.

If I fess the truth up to the insurance company what type of consequences do I have to face?[/quote]

Jail time, papa
Insurance fraud is a felony.
You lied to the police...on paper

Bruh let someone who he don't trust drive a rental car under his name...:smh:

I'm starting to not feel sorry for you dudes anymore.

knowing that you were going to let someone drive the rental car, you should have gotten the full coverage.

now take this L

My capital one credit card has free rental insurance if I pay with it. If you somehow paid with a capital one card, you could be good op
But I doubt you did

Son better had been fam if you taking the blame..

Everything about this is ridiculous. Hope you learn from it

I wouldn't let my mother drive a rental car under my name.
real talk, I don't let anyone drive my car not because I'm cheap but if anything happens, if you hit someone or they hit someone.. YOUR insurance goes up like crazy and I am not trying to deal with that.

Damn OP, I understand you were tryna do the right thing but this is the real world. Woulda been better off telling the truth cause now you could have potential legal problems. Good luck doe

I was involved in a huge auto accident in a rental under my name, I wasn't te driver but I took blame as the driver.
The faulted driver agreed to pay my auto insurance for 3 years if I take the blame. I am in the process of getting a promissory note written up to make sure he pays.
Question is...what if he decides to change his mind? Do I call the insurance company and change the story? What consequences will I have to encounter by doing so...

My last resort would be if he doesn't pay then I'll have to come forward to the insurance company...hell be screwed bc he really wanted to make sure his driving record is clean due to his job...
If I fess the truth up to the insurance company what type of consequences do I have to face?
Dog these insurance companies don't play, this is basically insurance fraud.

Might as well, take this L and keep it pushing.
