#todayskidswillneverknow

Do kids now adays still collect baseball, basketball, and football cards?

Those were the days man. Go get a ken Griffey and Shawn Kemp rookie card rookie for a dollar at the local shop run by an 80 plus year old man. That OG plug

I think about these days more often than I realized. I have a chest full of cards that I had collected back in the day I restrain from getting into until another 5-10 years or so just to be like, "I forgot I had that card!" I remember the wealth of KG and Moss cards I collected though. I'll probably end up spending most the day re-arranging my binders like back in the day for nostalgia purposes.

Going to the "card shop" was always a treat. The best one to go to my way was a small, dank little place, but the owner was a cool guy and happened to be a Vikings fan too, so I would chop it up with him -- as much as 12 year old could with a grown man.

I sold my card collection in 2001 to help buy a car when I was 18, ended up getting $4,000 for it, I bet I wouldn't even get half of that today

My older brother and I had a obsession man. We took a gander at them two years ago and there was an abundance of bulls and sonics players. Also had pages of the holograms baseball player cards that came from Denny's.

But defintely a time that won't be forgotten. Also recall versing my brother in chess quite often in those days.

They always have a card section in Target and i wonder to myself why since kids today can just save stuff to USB drives and upload it to tumblr or something

Kids now adays will never know that feeling of everything on the wall at footlocker being legit AF.

Most kids today still use TI 83s and 84s.

And when I was a sub a couple years back, every kid on in the math classes had games on their calculator.

I think kids of today know bout that brah

Super Castlevania :pimp: one of the long lost gems right there.

Went back and bought these a couple years ago at a flea market, anywhere from 2-5 dollars a game.

Tested them back and and they worked, so now I just need to find a reasonably priced SNES system. Funny thing is, I have a new genesis system, but no games

Prolly a good thing but today's kid will never know about when Pauly Shore was an A list celebrity.

This show was clutch it used to air during weekend mornings( not sure if it was sat or Sunday) but I remember watching this show before Bulls games. They canceled it and j was pissed. I used to wake up early to watch it. View media item 1635468

I guess I will be the one that says it, a lot of the stuff posted in here, the kids should thank GOD they will never experience these things

DC you a robot?

He's not a robot.
Just a very practical human being, even if it goes against popular opinion.

Yall just appreciate these things for the feeling of nostalgia more than anything.

Which one of yall here would really rather use limewire instead of your favorite streaming app?

Oh look, here comes NT's favorite haters
