Ronda Rousey has become extremely annoying TITLE CHANGE

media doesnt report on them, but they are all scums. each and every one of them

This whole issue just really stems from Floyd being black Sean Penn and Charlie Sheen have both beat their wife's and there no real hatred for either of them

People hate those 2 for a variety of other reasons. penn beat up madonna or Robin Wright? Robin is sexy af.

Of course anything to declaw a powerful successful black man.

Just like they did Mike Tyson.

They try do the same thing to Obama....Sarah Palin used to be so disrespectful towards Obama when he was running.

Now this Rousey Heffa doing the same thing......

What I find ***** are all the Floyd haters jumping on the Rousey bandwagon agreeing with that loud mouth ****.

Sean Penn and Charlie Sheen did the same thing but a powerful successful confident black man is just so much more of a target.

Like I said Rousey needs to stay in her place.....damn yall really can't see what's going on???

Even white women try to take shots and declaw powerful black men....Obama and Mayweather are prime examples of this.

Its always the same excuse and deflection with you haters...OMG OMG I don't like Mayweather he is money worshipping arrogant and too cocky.

I swear yall wouldn't be happy until hes a washed up declawed Mike Tyson.....sad thing is Flloyd has a ton of haters who are his own black people.

Being talented doesn't make up for being a ****. I acknowledge him as the most talented boxer today, but that doesn't mean I have to like him.

Money has had publicized squabbles with his dad. He's even evicted Floyd Sr. He got hunted down by the IRS and had Oscar bail him out of that trouble. He's beaten women then says "No pics? It didn't happen." Yet he pleaded guilty. He threatened a prison guard and bribed a convicted murderer then complained that jail is detrimental to his health and career. If he really didn't see that before being behind bars then he's far more detached from reality than we realize. Being talented or marketable isn't a free pass from scrutiny. And I mean that for any athlete or entertainer. What's an accurate description for a guy who acts like he's untouchable but he really isn't about that life?

And Colin Kaepernick is my favorite team's QB, I don't like him either.

Wait... when was people NOT talking about him being a woman beater before 2013?

Everyone I knew brought that up. Along with the fact he called out and hated his own Father.

I think it was alittle after the DLH fight, people were going IN on him being a woman beater and feuding with his own Family.

Dudes were not going in on him like that 'til his incarceration bruh, stop it.

Nobody gave a damb about his feud with his father really. IDK who made a big deal of that. It was covered in depth during the HBO 24/7 series, but the media def did not make a circus of the feud like they've done with Floyd's DV since 2013.

Seriously, barely anybody made mention of Floyd's DV history for the DLH fight, or the Hatton fight, or the Cotto fight, or the Marquez fight.

Pull me a thread from back then, show me where people on NT were talking about Floyd's domestic violence convictions before 2013 like they talk about them post-incarceration.

So if it wasn't discussed on Niketalk... it wasn't important and didn't happen. Okay, Got it!

You should disqualify yourself from this thread. Not everything is about race like you want it to be. Robert Downey Jr. was highly ostracized for his troubles despite being a very successful white actor. Just because you're not paying attention to other things doesn't mean they're not happening. Ignorance truly is bliss.

Mincing my words and misrepresenting my point doesn't give your BS half-baked revisionist history any credence.

Before Floyd's incarceration his domestic violence history was not much of a talking point among both boxing and popular media pundits.

You don't have to like it.....at all!

Actually it was very much talked about within boxing circles. It just never made it to Top Story news because he wasn't Oscar or Tyson. His troubles definitely surfaced leading up to his fight with Corrales.

Fake outrage is right. Dudes are going to find any and every reason to hate on Floyd. Even this extra average female from MMA who needs to mind her business and stay in her little lane.

I've never seen so many dudes.....or individuals that pretend to be dudes stick up for females that they couldn't even name or point out in a line up, particularly on a mostly male message board at that. Dudes need to go have a beer or a shot of liquor and get back to the basics of being a man again.

 We suppose to stick up for him because he's a guy?

Dude stop, of course it was spoken about in boxing circles.

But the general media and casual fans never cited his DV history as a basis for their hate until recently.

Before it was all about how he presented himself, how he was all disrespectful, how he was flamboyant and arrogant.

Dudes found justification for their pre-existing hatred for Floyd.

And let's not act like HBO and Lampley didn't pretty much launch a campaign to discredit and defame Floyd at every juncture since he signed his SHO deal.

Let's not pretend like they didn't fuel that fire for their own ulterior motives man. You slay me right now, you really do.

You know better also.

Speaking of the Corrales fight, how come the media didn't have a field day with him when Floyd hypocritically stated that he "was fighting for every battered woman out there?"

Where was the mass vitriol then?

Where was the outrage back then bro?

Sure long-time boxing fans were appalled, barely was a blip to the average sports fan though. Or the average pundit.

Where were the Keith Olbermanns back then asking for a boycott?

Where were the Rachel Nichols and the Michelle Beadles back then?

Where were they before the Pacquiao bout? Or even the Robert Guerrero bout?

Where? Where the **** have they been for 13 ******* years b. Aware me my fellow boxing fan. Aware me.

I need answers, stat.

C'mon man. We both know why it wasn't given much play. He wasn't a nobody then, but he sure as hell wasn't on the radar of the American public. You really think ESPN, or any news outlet for that matter, was going to run his cases as top story? He didn't become a big name until after DLH. FTR, his first case came after the Corrales fight so there couldn't have been cries for hypocrisy.

Question still stands, would you still roll with him if he laid hands on your mom? Answer carefully.

Seriously though, grow up, man.

I know we're off this but Floyd would get tied in a knot if he fought this woman in a non-boxing environment.  MMA is too evolved for a guy who only specializes in one area (not jiu-jitsu) to come in and beat a champion of the same weight, man or woman.  He only has a puncher's chance.

99 times out of 100, she takes him down and finishes him.  Anyone who thinks otherwise is either too stupid or too prideful.

My, what an artful dodger you are LWC.

If I didn't know better I'd have you pegged for the man himself.

So you want me to answer a loaded and absolutely inane question when you can't answer the valid question I'm posing.

Where were Olbermann, Beadle, and Nichols before the Pac fight?

Forget the fact that the media barely made a fuss of Floyd pleading guilty to two counts of domestic violence over a five month span between '01 and '02 just months removed from Floyd fighting fellow woman-beater Diego Corrales.

Forget that for a moment, okay maybe he wasn't a household name.

But he's been one since the DLH fight, where were the talking heads then? The mass vitriol? I'm still waiting for an answer.

Maybe when you answer that question, I'll answer your absolutely BS and outright insulting question.

Fact is a lot of people always hated on him, be it because of racial reasons or because of his personality. Some folks just can't give him his due and will look to discredit him when all the arguments against him as a boxer fall flat and when their favorite boxer and/or countryman becomes another notch on Floyd's belt.

Where were beadle, Nichols, and olbermann? Beadle was reporting bull riding, Nichols was a reporter for the Washington post covering the capitals and Olbermann wasn't even reporting sports anymore. I've already answered why there was so little scrutiny of Floyd back then, few people knew who he was. Why wasn't he criticized more when he got bigger? Simple, DV didn't become a hot topic until Ray Rice. Not many understood the seriousness of DV, not even Roger Goodell. The Ray Rice fiasco brought a better understanding of how bad DV can get. Anyone now involved in DV gets cut and the negative spotlight shines on them and their former team so don't act like Mayweather is the only one being criticized.

I don't expect you to answer my question though. It's ok, I know the answer.

I KNEW I would see some Mayweather HATERS from the boxing thread who I blast after Mayweather beat Pac

On side note, what the heck is going on in there? :x
