NETFLIX-Narcos '17- Season 3 trailer up

If Escobar never went into politics would he have been ok?

It seems like that's where his problems came from

Yeah, this girl is so far the sexiest of the bunch. Straight fire

I thought La Madrina and Escobar worked together, she was never even mentioned. I wonder if they'll ever do anything on her considering they would need consent from her family.

I think the U.S. would've eventually stepped in later down the line.?Not going into politics would have pro-longed his reign/life though.

His whole point of getting into politics was immunity and no extradition. That was his long term goal. Problem is, when that didn't work.....he turned to an outright Narco-Terrorist as opposed to big time Drug Lord.

It wasn't that. His goal was to change Columbia. But because he got into it. They found dirt on him and due to who Pablo is mentally. He didn't like that. Hence the beginning of government intervention from both sides

was it ever revealed who claimed responsibility for the apartment complex bombing from the beginning of Ep. 9, i think ?

ive only found articles documenting that it had happened but no mention of who supposedly set it off (Cali Cartel, communists, gov't maybe)

sWagner Moura did an excellent job as Pablo. I ended up hating his character by Ep. 10 because of all the savagery but amazingly entertaining regardless.

I think the journalist who was with the Cali leader snitched out his whereabouts. Pablo did just kill 12/15 of his men. And the chick slipped up on where Pablo and his family would be staying at

.
did pena set up murphy? or was it the black guy?

I think it was Pena

But did what happen really matter

She didn't snitch on purpose. When she was explaining to the Cali Cartel guy how she wouldn't want to be his wife waiting around at the blah blah hotel. He realized all he had to do was stake it out for Pablo.

She realized her mistake when they called to report the bombing.

Yea slipped up. Typo

She ended up throwing politicians down the drain later on

One thing I like about this show is that it doesn't really paint Pablo as that much of a sympathetic character.

As much as I enjoy Blow as a movie, it felt it tried to make the audience sympathize with Boston George too much.

As soon as the movie was over I was like "Good, hope your daughter never goes to visit your crusty ***, die slow old man"

Pablo was a damb terrorist, I shake my head at folk that seriously show some type of admiration for him or glorify his "accomplishments'. Same with what it going on with El Chapo now

Can't wait till they show him getting murked :smokin

It showed the stupidity in a lot of his moves. We should actually be thankful.

From the running for election to charging other cartel members a tax when you're making millions a day

I don't think it accurately portrayed how many he killed and how bad he was though. He just didn't care. You saw some of it with the plane and who they selected to do it. He didn't care he had a young family.

When lehder goes to jail that's when he meets Boston George idk why they changed his name in blow but he portrayed by George partner that introduced him to Pablo

All of this.

It blows my mind when dudes say dumb **** like they look up to Pablo or Free Chapo. Like these dudes are certified terrorist with no code or ethics to whom they'd kill lol.

On the other end of the spectrum though...I loved how Pablo was portrayed as very human...but you could see how easily he could turn sinister in a mili-second. Like those close to him like Gustavo, Ochoa bros, etc.....weren't afraid to call him out or voice their opinions. In other depictions of Pablo, he's always this largely sinister guy 99% of the time, with little charisma.

It also showed how smart and short-sighted Pablo really was.

It all depends in who's eyes, there were people in Medellin that cried when he died.  To some he was labeled terrorist, to others he was labeled a hero

I mean more of the people today in America. Look on social media, there were a lot of people cheering on El Chapo. Like this dude doesn't hang innocent people from bridg. Even the wise God-MC Nas idolized Pablo. He wouldn't idolize Mugabe or someone.

I understand "rooting" for the bad guy...but I can't get behind rooting for someone responsible for the deaths of thousands.
