On Episode 4 right now...

show is flames :smokin

They got the accents right which I was hoping they did.

Only complaint is Pablo Escobar being the only one with the struggle accent :rolleyes :lol:


Trying not to binge watch but I want to finish and read through this thread :lol:

Finished it last night, absolute banger...1st season is amongst the best 1st seasons I've ever seen if not the best
 
just finished the season & i'm just wondering how they are gonna stretch just 2 years into a next season, if it's 1992 now, escobar was dead by 1994, i liked the show, solid acting on all parts, & i want to also know, is this show gonna cover just pablo... or is it a series based on all [in]famous narco traficante figures?

& i swear wagner moura looks like john mayer.

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. As I was watching the season I started to think that because they were moving so fast with the time line that pablo would die this season and then next season would be different subject material. Next season would cover 2 years or so while the firat season covered like 15 years. I would have liked it more if they would have slowed the time line down and went into more detail. Would have liked to see more lehder amongst others.

Also, as others said, I thought they really made pablo unlikable. Usually in mob/drug/etc. Movies/shows I kind of end up rooting for the bad guy. Not during this show, halfway through I really wanted to see pablo dead. Overall good show though.
 
Pablo's accent sucks, Gustavo, Poison have the best paisa slang...everyone else that's supposed to be Colombian are cool too...is just Pablo really...lol

The later episodes, Pablo's son...I don't know, but I just wanted to snuff that kid in the face...especially when he & Pablo leave the jail picnic table.

When Carrillo threatens his family and talks **** about his fat son, he pretty much spoke for me, I hated his little fat guts the second he popped up on screen.

Oh yeah Carrillos accent is a little weak too...but he's too dope of a character, they better bring him back
