What is EVO

The Evolution Championship Series is an annual video game tournament that focuses exclusively on fighting games. In fighting game communities it is commonly referred to as "Evo", and is currently the premier video game tournament for fighting games. The tournament uses the double elimination format. As with Super Battle Opera, the Evolution tournaments are so well known that typically contestants will travel from all over the world to participate, most notably Japan.

7 streams all weekend.  Crazy how big this event is getting.  :lol: at the prize pool for Marvel.  That's more bragging rights than anything now.
 
It's too hard to predict this year. Everyone is extra hungry with the money from the pro tour.
Personally I want either Daigo, Xian or Nemo to win.
 
 I'm hoping to see Smug, Dimenion and Snake Eyez do well. I'd love to see Smug get top 8. This is going to be a great EVO.   
 
Sad no KOF this year. Reynald winning 2013 is/was still one of my favorite recent Evo runs. 2014 KOF was bad though, killed all the hype :smh:
Hope to see Chris G finally win at Marvel lol before it begins to die down.
I haven't been following this "season," but I want r/Kappa guys to do well :nerd:

I wanted to go so bad, but my boss wouldn't let me take off. I will be watching it at work though. I got PR Rog taking Street Fighter and Chris G taking Marvel.

But it'll probably be small.

I want to see Pugera get far. His Ibuki is always fun to watch. Infiltration should be in the mix and Poongko on a good day should go far.

Also it's about time Chris G wins Marvel. I hate Morridoom but he put in the work to make that team the best team there is. He deserves it.

Also, Kusoru is coming this year. He hsan't been to the US since winning Final Round



I wonder what tech he has if any. I love Japanese Marvel.

Kurosu, Abegen gonna be there? I love his YOLO SheHulk lol. Nemo should put in work.
 
alright I just set this up for myself tomorrow but figured sharing is caring 2 multi stream setups to watch everything :nerd:

- Highly Advise lowering the quality on the ones your not "actively" watching
- If one of the Streams is Not Active just erase it from the URL and they will not be shown

I'm cool with missing the pools today :lol:
 
I hope so see someone besides a shoto win at Street Fighter.

PR Rog or Snake Eyez, but it's going to be hard for those characters to take it against a shoto.

Otherwise I'd like to see The King... Mago take win Evo.

Dude has been at it for a minute and has never really won an important major tournament.
