NTers are on Complex?

Man...Complex sure has changed but I guess you have to do these things to be relevant. I remember when I used to get their mags and read their reviews like it was the bible. I even think I still have the Wu issue on Wu-Tang Forever.

They have to stay relevant. Guys our age are ancient. I'm sure you remember the ecko.comPLEX campaign in the early 2000s. Marc saw the vision and got in early.

Love this ad series. I even think I saved them in my notebook. I am sure Meth had one and some other rappers I liked. I didn't even like Ecko as a brand but loved the mag so much. To this day I hated how they killed Triple 555 Soul. I swear that brand should be here to this day. They were L-R-G before L-R-G.

555 Soul was one of my favorite joints since the stocking caps and matching rugby's out the OG store in LES.

Always wondered why that brand disappeared.

Yo that brand was really poppin' like that up North my dude?

From a DC perspective we always looked at it as local NY brand (back when you could tell where someone was from by how they dressed and regions had their on style/before social media/WSHH had everybody dressin' the exact same nationwide)...

Yea. It was a hot brand. De La put them on the map in the late 80's then they had a boom in the early-mid 90's I think.

EDIT-I did my Googles and found http://www.highsnobiety.com/2014/12/18/triple-5-soul-history/

It's more like complex employees have been registered to NT for years. A few other social media sites as well.

Pap never made it like I thought he would but son still nice coming off the top.

This got me in tears  "I got feelings too." Trolling on point.

Had that Triple 5 Soul velour suit :pimp:

Still got the jacket somewhere in my closet

I definitely miss the Triple 5's, OG Ecko, Enyce's of the world. It was probably more of a NY thing initially but I was rocking them joints out here in the Bay remembering it being pretty hard to find some dope pieces.
